Yeah! Purple Skunk is the BEST! The board and all of its components that was ridden to the win in the Dixie Cup downhill was from Purple Skunk!

Purple Skunk is... as we say in Hawaii, No Ka Oi! (The Best) Living in Hawaii is great, but shipping to Hawaii... well, that just plain sucks! The cool people from Purple Skunk did with it again, great service, cheap and fast shipping to Hawaii. I ordered Randal 180 trucks, gumball wheels, biltin 7 bearings and hardware. Everything was brand new and packaged well, I couldn't have asked for better service from a Online Retailer. When I need to shop online for skate products I will only shop at the Purple Skunk! Thank you to all posters re. Purple Skunk recommendation. I live in Davis and last Thursday went to SF , hoping to find a Landyachtz board I'd only seen on the internet. Well ... I got much more! I test rode lots of different boards;
long and the new shorties too. Way fun! Came home w/ a Landyachtz Evo, Randall DH trucks and Abec 11 Flywheels. Heaven. I'm cruising like never
before. And PURPLE SKUNK is the BEST ! Friendly, informed , well stocked .
"Need quarters for the meter? Water? Bathroom?" I was there almost 3 hours!
Get yourself there if you can, and enjoy. Thanks again to all who shared. This is one 54 year old who is too young to stop skating !

Just bought some more skate stuff from purple skunk. Got my self some pimp 97mm flywheels, biltin abec 7 bearings, and Randal DH trucks. I must say, I have to hand it to Purple Skunk again for providing great service. The employees are all wonderful people and everyone there is not just trying to make a buck, but actually care about skating and having a chill time. about one month ago we discovered purple skunk in san fran and got ourselves 2 landyachtz boards. we really enjoy riding them on the boardside of the lake of zürich they're really amazing! we love that our boards are unique and nobody else in switzerland got such little boards..*haha* ;)
when you're in san fran, visit purple skunk, take the chance and testride all the different cool boards. we've never experienced such a great offer!

Not all experiences are good, for proof, this very bad transaction with East Coast Skates, or East Coast Industries, whatever they call themselves.
After emailing the shop about 6 weeks ago to check for availability of sets of downhill wheels in 2 different duros, I ordered 1 set of each duro. Not only did it take the shop one week to send the package, but when I received it it had 2 sets of the same duro. I sent one sent back asking for correction of the mistake.
As of today, I received no sign of theses guys, they did not answer the 4 emails I sent them, and the only phone number on their website is for a voice mail that does not even work!
I can kiss my wheels bye bye, as well as the 60$ the set cost.
Crooks!
