That does sound backwards. They certainly aren't going attract many skaters. Too bad... I've lusted after that park for years. However, if the "annual memberships run through June 30, 2001", perhaps the rates have changed since then.

OC skatepark has their hand out for $70 if you want to skate it. That's a $60 membership and $10 daily fee. In my opinion that's very lame for a park in what is clearly a tourist area. Just thought those from out of town should know before being disappionted.

Yeah lbk, thanks for the props, La Costa is the place to be this weekend, but I still hope to see you down the ocean bowl, I'm sure of a great weekend of sk8ing either way. Yeah you DC guys rip, hog'n up the events page,( no pun intended). I love it, our scene is alive and kick'n. BoBo Fu manchu thursday night.....rock and roll....Baltimore and DC together on this track...................

Joe, come on out to Maryland. If you are driving to the shore Ocean City, MD is not that further of a drive than it would be to Ocean City, NJ. The Ocean Bowl (with cool lines to carve) and Exodus indoor park (with a nice wood bool and fun mini half pipes) are near to each other and should be on your "to do list" of places to skate. Not to mention sessioning with Gravity Team Rider Cabbage this Sunday.
I'll either be in LaCosta or OC this weekend.

Maybe NCDSA should set up a site for the DC crew to pass notes to eachother. It seems like this events site is always jammed full of their weekend plans.

Since we had a blast yesterday but the turnout was not like I'd hoped this is what's gonna happen with the ILB pix.
I'm going to be shooting a couple of rolls at the DC Outlaw race in 2 weeks. That means everyone will be there for the big photo of the ENTIRE DC Crew.
No one will be left out [Unless they don't show]. This is in direct response to several e-mails with concerns for the many that were not present.
As for what I write I will say this. It will be a super positive, stoked to the max piece that highlights all the cool people that make this scene the best on the eastern seaboard.
Have faith in what I do boyz. I'll make ya proud.
It gets done when it gets done. I'll not sacrifice quality for timeliness.

I know most of the cool dudes will be at La Costa, but back east heads with no money or vacation time left, that aren't doing the DC summer outlaw series, I'm look'n for ya to be down the beach...by the way you DC crew guys rock, sorry I'm not a local on your scene but you all have my props, all your contest fall on day's I'm away. By the way everyone do me a favor this sun, take a 2 second time out and remember Skye on his second b-day. Haven't seen him since aug 8th last summer. Please don't forget to help spread the word.
