Dave,
Let's pick a date that does not conflict with other races, set it up and do it. I'll help out any way I can.

Hell ya id be up for that. i kinda suck at slalom. but i bet it will be rad. i was also thinking about a banked slalom at pot springs ditch. It might be kinda kool with the bridge in the middle. Have you guys seen that someone fixed up the ditch. they lowered the parking blocks and painted them red. its pretty rad. everyone should check it out its really nice there now. peace mick

mandelay thinks you are practicing at some secret new spot. 'cause there was DEFINITELY no one there at 8:30-40ish but a Fed cop at the top of the lot.
i think vlad and wes like riding gay slalom alone.

Mandelay, I was at Walker from 8:20 PM till 12:40 AM last night. Wes joined in after 9. Two courses were set and we practiced like crazy. Sometimes the lights don’t go on for you. Sometimes “you see cops, and they are everywhere, and they don’t know they are cops”. What’s up? Saturday 4 PM. Hayfield high. Racetrack. 5.5 ft cone practice. Be there.

I went by at 8:40 and the only one at the top of the lot was one of LBK's buddies in a patrol car. Was it a bust? I went to Patriot Center and did gay slalom by myself.
Is Friday night on?

Landsdowne Banked Slalom

I was talking to Cabbage the other weekend about a Landsdowne Banked Slalom Race. He suggested we do an outlaw race there. You know, no sponsors or big production, just show up, set up the cones, the timer and run the race. Sounds like a good idea to me.
If we are going to do it, here are a couple of things we would have to figure out.
1. Date of Race Considering (FCR, Brian P's races, WV Race).
2. Rain Date
3. How to get everyone registered to ride the park in time for the race start.
4. Time judge & other volunteers that could be the racers also.
5. Race rules (# of runs, cone penalty, etc.)
6. Timer Equipment (Parson's system and Mitch's as a back-up).
7. How to get the word out (flyers, e-mails, phone calls)
What do you guys say?

Girls, I didn’t get any replies on our get-together before Sunday. Ohm suggested Wed. night. That’s today. I gotta take Anna to a school meting at 7 and we can be at Walker by the time the lights are on. There are parts over there that are somewhat flat. Not flat-kinda flat, but flat enough for practice. As long as EweS is coming, we’re there. Slappy, Ohm, Dave, Brian? Bring your "real" slalom gear for 5.5 ft. Truly.

Hello Georgian friends! We miss you quite a bit, esp. your hospitality and kindness.
Nice people on other forums have been talking about us but we decided not to interfere with the ongoing pre-MB discussion for the sake of preserving the 2002 California-Open, oops, 2002 Slalom World Championship spirit.
Because Slalom forum is now occupied mostly with the excuses to call MB the world slalom championship again, and this Event forum here serves a certain function, we really don’t know where to post our replies.
How about the Bulletin board? Neutral enough?

My boss needs to do some TS flat-land time before the NJ race. If anyone else is interested in going there, keep in mind the course is going to be set at 5.5 ft. I'm up for the Massanis session. If anyone is intersted in gay-slalom on flat before Sunday, e-mail me and we can coordinate it with others. Dalv - the messenger boy.
