I guess I started this Franco-American skate crisis inadvertently with my call to send Olson to Paris.
Sending Olson to Paris was publicly announced as a diplomatic détente. In truth there is a more serious reason for Olson's mission. And that is the current fashion crisis that started in Paris last year and is spreading across the international slalom community.
Spandex showed up in a race in Paris last year. The next thing you know, Mollica is wearing spandex in the World Championships, right here in the good ole US of A. Hiking boots on Hutson was an unrelated anomaly we think, but still concerning.
Last year, Gilmore was the fashion ambassador to France, but with JG's current list of injuries (noteably from a euro-type snowboarding activity), he is unfortunately sidelined for Paris.
And besides, it's all about leather this year.
So, stop bickering and show your support with a paypal donation to sendolsontoparis@skateboardracing.com
If you need instructions contact me.

HACKETT - 70,000 eh? and how many french in the first war? 3 million troops 2nd time? another 800,000. all that was left after the slaughter 1st time round if we have to thank anyone we should thank the soviets for grinding the nazis down while you lot were sunning yourselves and we should thank tojo for shocking you out of your blinkered isolationist stance. sometimes i think that having been late for the last two world wars you lot wanna make up for it by being early for the third

Hey Michelle, don't worry about Americans not having passports. It doesn't normally seem to stop them 'visiting' foreign shores.

This blanket statement is like saying all French are gay(whick in all truth its only about 97% that are)
In any case, I have ridden my skateboard in 17 different countrys and 48 states, Alaska and North Dakota being the only 2 that I havnt. France Germany (Both) Belgium Spain Italy Switzerlan d Netherlands Scotland Norway Ireland UK Are countrys in Europe that I have traveled to and ridden my skateboard in, In the time it would take you to travel from one end of those countrys to the other end, I would still be driving in california to a race in Tahoe from my home in So Cal.
If you want to know the reason nobody wants to come to your country, its because the food SUCKS!
Actually, the real reasons are:
Why Bother?
If I want to race the best skateboarders in the world, I just call up a couple of my SSS team members and we go ride.
You see, there is those people like Vlad, that refuse to put his ass on the line and skate against a field of pro's, instead, he would rather go to gay Paris and TRY and make himself look good against a bunch of rank amateurs.
Just remember, It is I who sneaks into Go Urethane and poisans the Abec 11 wheels so they will suck in slalom. Arab, no my real name is Osama But dont forget, I'm also Saddam by day I created, TB, Cancer, Aids, Famine, STD's and every other disease known to man. All wars were and are created by me. every time somebody writes something bad about anybody on this forum, it is me. Especially if it has to do with Chris Flaput and or French people. I seretly took a plane to Iraq the other day and killed 4 US civilians to put pressure on our president to get out of Iraq Those bombs in Spain a couple weeks ago, yep that was me also. The bomb in the Bali nightclub that killed Steve Webster, they blamed that on Al-Queda, well that is partly true, I'm al queda, but that bomb had nothing to do with terrorism, I got in a fight with Steve when we were in 4th grade, that was just revenge. Some little things you probably dont know about me, everytime you hit a cone and knock it over, you really didint hit it, I was hiding in the bushes with my BB gun and knocked it over, how do you think I ended up on the podium behind Chicken and Olson for the 2003 FCR World Series of Slalom? Same goes for my 12th place out of 300 in Corkys skewed World ranking system. I'm a sharp shooter, when you get stung by a mosquito, thats all the way from me in california, I have this supergalactic turbomega mosquito blaster launcher, I simply just say the name of the person I want to infect with aids tainted blood and the country of origin in which he resides, and blammo, your infected!
So, next time you go lumping all Americans together with Blanket statements, remember, its all my fault. every bit of mudslinging, s#@! stirring, fact farting head busting teeth kicking ining bulls#@!ing is all me.
ARAB
PS , can somebody please repost my post from yesterday that I have been accused of doing, I missed that one, or I forgot, or I dont remember or it was or wasnt me when it was or not maybe kinda sorta sometimes already now.
PSS-Hackett you will never be allowed on smarmyskateboarder.com again until you apologise to the entire french population living in and outside of france, this includes, canada, and haiti. Speaking of Haiti, how do you like how I thru that bum Aristide out on his ass! Teach him to ride Abec 11's

Perhaps I shall not post for a while. How about until America find the Weapons of Mass Destruction. That should be a while.

Why your skating on your beautiful roads you might want to stop and read some of the names on the graves of American soldiers who saved your asses. There are cemeteries full of the "over there". It's just a matter of time before evil is breathing down your necks again and we'll see how fast your airspace opens up when you need John Waynes help again. So when it happens, and your skating your beautiful roads, you remember who's in those jets you're looking up at. Slalom is cool - France is not.

So where was I ungrateful? Where was I insulting? Most French people DONT hate Americans. I dont.
We skate hills. Wax says we dont. He's wrong. I pick him up on his mistake.
I am greatful to the US for saving us from the NAzis....after all we would have just a little too much Black Leather around wouldnt we?

OK, HERE'S THE DEAL MICHELLE, PLAIN AND SIMPLE;
SKATEBOARDING WAS INVENTED BY AMERICANS AND STILL RULES IN AMERICA, BY AMERICANS! WE TAUGHT THE ENTIRE WORLD HOW TO SKATEBOARD, PERIOD.
FRANCE SUCKS SH!T, MOST FRENCH PEOPLE HATE AMERICANS, AND ARE STUCK UP A-HOLES.
I HAVE BEEN THERE 3 TIMES, AND THE ONLY THINGS WORTH ANYTHING IN "GAY PARIS" ARE THE ARCHITECTURE, ART, AND SOME OF THE CUISINE.
NONE OF WHICH WOULD EVEN BE THERE UNLESS WE AMERICANS (70,000+ US SOLDIERS DIED ON FRENCH SOIL) WENT OVER THERE TO FIGHT FOR FRANCES LIBERATION FROM THE NAZIS!
AS FOR YOUR ROADS; LET'S NOT EVEN GO THERE...MOST ARE STILL RUBBLE FROM WWII BOMB RAIDS!
SO, QUIT ACTING LIKE AN UN-GRACIOUS IGNORANT ASS!
IF IT WASN'T FOR US, (AND ENGLAND) YOU WOULD BE MARCHING AROUND IN CIRCLES SCREAMING "HEIL HITLER"!

I have NOT run down America. Remember, when Wax first says we dont race hills, or we are 'spineless' I take that as a personal, and national insult. That is why i defend France. But I will not have people who know little run France down. It is the lack of knowledge and understanding that annoys me.
I can uderstand why an American may choose not to leave the US to travel, and much may be down to the fact you only get 2 weeks holiday as a rule. Am I wrong? This isnt an insult to America, I have a genuine interest as to why most Americans dont travel to foreign countrries, and at the same time feel they need to justify this by insulting the very places they dont go to. I am confused.

Michelle,
I'm sure you care because you wouldn't write if you didn't. So on that hand, and the truth is known. Chill...Back-up....look where you are and smile. Because we are skaters on this funny world. As a i little kid once told me, " You same, same me." In the end we are all human beings on skateboards.

Michelle,
I have met very few people from France. Of those, one of them has been a friend since the late 70's the other stayed in my home for when he attended the 2001 Worlds. Both are friendly, wonderful people.
Why do feel it is your duty to run down America? I'm sure that France is a beautiful country, I have always wanted to visit .
America is also a beautiful country, I have seen America up close and personal from the deck of my skateboard. I have been lucky enough to experience America in a manner that has allowed me to not only see it's beauty but also to interact with's people, who are also friendly, wonderful people.
Michelle as you love France, I love America.
I would be interested to learn of your skateboarding background. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Greetings, nice website. I've been lurking here for about a year.
SK8/SURF 4 LIFE! Sumdumsurfer P.S. Rather interesting to see a debate (on politics?) in the Guest Book portion of a skateboard website. I was hoping to see other skaters that have signed the book, not something easily found in a chatroom. Oh, well. Have fun.

My two cents on all the NCDSA mudslinging -
1. To the Chris Chaput impersonator: leave the women and children alone. It's bad enough to attack his beautiful wife and daughter; it's despicable to suggest that an innocent little girl has the sick mind of a dirty old (or perhaps middle-aged?) man. Go pick on someone your own size. If you can't, please blow yourself.
2. To everyone else: let the pigs wallow in their own misery. A wise man once told me not to wrestle with them; everyone gets dirty, but only the pigs will enjoy it.
That is all.

Arab, posting pics of a man's wife and daughter is below low. Everybody knows this whole sh*&fest between you and Chaput started when you started bagging on him for the crime of having a skateboard related business. Eventually he took the bait and started attacking you back, his big mistake. Now you're such a victim of all the hate, you poor bastard!

WE GOT IT. We all KNOW that Adam T, Chris C, Wax and Arab will not be forming a barbershop quartet and touring anytime soon. That last post (not yours, Henry-dress-boy) was ugly and sick.
This $h!+ has GOT to stop. NOW.
Personal attacks should not be tollerated by both the moderator nor the public in general. I refuse to take sides in this, as slandering one side would be condoning the other...which I DO NOT. Grow up, children.
