like to say it's been fun reading all the USA HATERS posts, but I can't. I still believe it's a major jealousy problem more than anything. I will say that
unless you're from here, you don't know what 9/11 felt like. I believe you're
all to young to remember the bombing raids the Nazi's blew your old pieces of dirt to hell with ( WHEN WE CAME AND SAVED YOUR ARSES ).
Once 9/11 happened ( as Olson says ) IT'S ON!! We're not about to let some towel head pices of crap screw with us again. And if we make mistakes in the process - OH well!! We have to worry about us.

dave, he's supposed to be a a statesman, that is a skilled and experienced negotiator. the question was not "what is the biggest regret of your life" it was "what do you feel is your biggest mistake since september 11th"
this episode gives a lie to the concept of an obstinate and cantankerous press. the whole thing was a hollywood movie with a prepared script and actors playing their parts until somebody asked a question that was not the question he was supposed to ask. whats the betting "John" will no longer be privy to such briefings?

If I asked your dumb ass what you most regreted doing in your life, and you were given 5 seconds to respond,I would hope (for your sake) you couldn't pin point a particular incident immediately!!! Some of us aren't ashamed of our actions!!!
I've made mistakes as all..but I couldn't isolate 1 or the other when put on the spot...Other than responding to you idiotic thread!!! We're at an alltime high on petro and an all time low on interest and our unemployment aint too bad and we give away $$$$$$$ to others !

as you know its mainly wide open sandy beaches interspersed with granite reefs.
i'd say a pennel rig up and over would allow enough flowing trace to let you target ray, and of course you will find the bass using a pennel pulley rig. distance does count on these beaches. as for baits i'd say peeler are probably the best bet but you want to carry sand eel and worm as well as they can change diet overnight. fish a single rod and pay attention to it - no rod holders should be used as you will miss bites. turbot may be available close in using fish baits but its hit and miss.
i took some new artificial bait out yesterday afternoon - took a breeding pair of ballans in a double header out of just 4 ft of water on light gear. it seems to work.
