Just got my 41" flexdex and am loving it. Can't stop riding, but its too bad the sport isn't very big here in Utah. If any one has Long Boarding Info for me or anything in Utah, hook me up......Keep it real.

Yo, what's up? I'm from Long Island and I'm the best longboarder ever. Anyone that wants to take ME on can meet me at the little hill behind my house!! I don't even wear equipment! I'm also good at sleighriding, but I can't say that I'm the best. My friend Tom down the block is better than me. 4:00 on Sept. 18th if anyone dares to challenge my hill. We have to be quick though cause my dad thinks it's dangerous and we might get our skateboards taken away. PEACE PUNKS!!

to SxE Phil: I felt the same way you did. I go to Brigham Young in Utah and last year, I was the only person I saw with a longboard (and there were very few with shortboards). But since I've been back this year, there are quite a few guys longboarding to the campus and there was even an article in our newspaper about the growing number of longboarders. If it can happen at BYU, it should be happening every where else so keep the faith and keep boarding. PS When I went home for the summer I was the only longboarder there too so I taught my little brothers and sisters how to do it. Now we all have our own longboards and we board together (even my parents are getting into it). So you can always help get a friend of family member addicted to boarding too.

I've got some news on my page: A review of Randal R2's and a Brand presentation of Pboards. Might take a look at it.

I have to agree with SlayerD. What's your problem Jens? I longboard solo because I don't know anyone else who does it in my area (Westchester Cty, NY). I personally would love to see the stores in my area selling more longboards and hopefully meeting some riders in my area one day, which theres gotta be some. The more the merrier bro.

What kind of a elitist attitude is that? I think it'd be great if every little punk got a longboard. What are you so afraid of?

I went for a walk, looking for some decks in the city today! They are starting to sell more and more long-decks. I hope not that it would be a trend. I dont want every little punk cruising around on a longboard! Can`t they ride their own little new-school boards!!

Just relocated to Schaumburg, IL from Los Angeles. My homemade longboard is the most disgusting 4 1/2 ft plank of 3/4" Russian Birch with homemade 3/4" oak spacers you've ever seen. I roll through branches and chewed-up asphalt cuz I'm too lazy to pop them. Drop me a line if you longboard near the Schaumburg/Hoffman Estates area because I need some local respect beat into me.

all that needs to be said is that longboarding on wheels has turned me to a path in wich i now ride a long surfboard instead of my old 6 FT G&S. I never knew it could be so much fun. And even though I just got my liscense, I still choose to ride the board as transportation. -Devon
