I just put a downhill video on roots 'n ride website (http://www.multimania.com/rootride).
It's a 2 years old film, featuring Eric Labarthe, one of the French top-of-the-range freeriders. The spot is Cauteret, in the French Pyrenees. It's old but very good, actually.
The video is 59s long, mpeg coded (2.2 MB), and I believe it's worth downloading it, even if it's not as stunning as the full-screen version (which is really amazing).
If you think the video is ok, please feel free to add a link. Skate safe.

My highest speed was 46.6 mph (without an aero helmet). My fellow Team TVS rider Gary Hardwick had the fastest speed at 51.1 mph, and he also won.
Hugh,
i wouldn't reccomend buying the comp 2's until you are ready to go over 60. the origional comp 1's are just fine.

Hey DT, your welcome, glad you got a chuckle out of it. By the way, congratulations on your weekend finish... What type of speeds were you guys hitting?
I am still trying to get back to my former level of downhill, but I still haven't gotten the nerve to break 30. I try to improve by a few miles an hour each week.
Have you ever tried the S-9 Cosmic crusier for bombing? I saw one yesterday and it looks real promising to me... see ya later, HR

Now i know how it feels to be ignored by someone elses heart. I wonder what have i done to the world ? Another thing i hate are all the people waiting for the tube in the morning. Standing there in their black business suits and costumes, bored. Me, i have to pass them, wearing sneakers and kinda army jacket ,carrying my board under the arm, like a farmer who passes his cows and they cant stop staring. Close my eyes, dream of a sunny hill , silence.Smile.
What the fuck is my life about???

I personally have a old trusty entropy true ride and she will do battle with any who come before her gravity 73mm slide down to 50mm b2 trucks so loose that it will turn on a dime a deck that flexs so much that it will carve any hill placed in its path no matter how steep and it is a member of the 50mph club REMember it ant how shiny it is its how you ride it feel the force
