Todcar,
I have heard of guys using "shoe goo", you might also get some test pieces together and try a good quality silicon RTV or possibly a 2 part epoxy... HR

I am making a pair, but am having trouble getting the plastic palm piece and rubber finger tips to attach to the leather glove. Any tips on what kind of glue I should use to get these things to hold?

Hey Todcar,
Any idea if they have a US version? Or if they are available over here? It is a very cool looking design. And I really like the carbon/kevlar mixes... HR

Sliding gloves:
I picked up two small poly cutting boards at the Wal store yesterday. These will be fashioned into "over glove" sliders. I will take some pix of the building process.
Any suggestions from you guys who have already built your own will be appericiated... thanks, HR

Triple Eight makes a pretty nice, comfy, old school style skateboard helmet. It comes in a bunch of colors & some are sparkly, oooh! I don't know how good they are for downhill/speed riding, but that's what I have so I wear it.

Carbon Fiber Aero helmet

Greetings,
Sorry for lagging on the update, but I found myself in the hospital once again. This time a colapsed lung of all things! Well, I'm feeling better and am glad to give the following update regarding the Carbon Fiber Aero helmets.
My long time employee, Keith Gibson, will be taking over the entire carbon fiber product manufacturing half of Dr. GoFast hi speed gear. Keith brings with him nearly a decade of composites manufacturing experience and is one of the most skilled laminators in the business.
I have been working with Keith over the past 2 months to bring him up to speed on all aspects of the business. Keith has caught up on all of our back ordered motorcycle parts and is now focusing all of his efforts on the downhill skate helmets.
Keith has informed me that he will be able to have at least one helmet ready for the Mammoth race this month, and at least 4 more by the end of summer.
Although I will be stepping away from the manufacturing side of things, I will still handle product engineering, support, quality, and sales.
Due to the demand and limited availability, the helmets will be available on a first come first served basis with a 50% deposit to reserve your helmet. Please contact me directly to place an order and to arrange an appointment for custom sizing.
Once again, thank you for your patience and support.

I was just going to ask if anyone knew anything on that helmet. I was at a bike shop and they had it for about $110 dollars, is this a good price for this helmet. Also how good is the Rebel BMX helmet at about $89 dollars?
Don't ride without helmets, they save lives. One save me from going to hosptail and brain damage.

Vigor makes a very good full faced helmet called the "Vamoose". It is well made, has better aerodynmics than a motorcycle helmet, and is comfortable.
They also make other snow, skate, and bmx helmets.

GoFast Aero Helmets

Hey folks,
Due to my luge crash earlier this year, there have been a lot of rumors circulating around regarding the future availability of the carbon fiber Aero Helmets. Due to the injuries that I sustained, I have not been able to produce any helmets thus far this year, this simple fact has manifested into rumors that the helmets will not ever be available again.
I have been working hard at coming up with a solution to meet the demand for the helmets and to put everybody's mind at rest. I am currently buttoning up the final details that will permit a limited number of helmets to be made this year. I am excited to say that things are looking very good at this point.
Some time next week, I will be making an official announcement here regarding the details of this arrangement, so please stay tuned, I think the whole downhill skate scene will be stoked to hear about this.
