anyone looking for a more in depth forum on this topic should look at Bull Dog Skates forum.. in collectors corner. This one seems a little deserted? Not to mention that last post is ugly and is not even vintage? No offense but if you wanna talk about American football keep it off this forum..

I know a Pirates, Steelers, Penquin fan in California??... All the kinfolk are from the burgh. So its lifelong passion, not bandwagon. Yes I slalom rode the sidewalk at the Black and Gold Birgade during halftime with 6 cocktails in me... Newphew took film of this event with his phone... Not sure who that fat, bald, skater was with a touch of fear in his eyes knowing he had put so many glasses of the devil brew to his lips!! :-----) Yes I know, I gotta add a championship pin!! Cheers to those who care..LOL..

Sorry Racer X, Quad Gal is no longer my gal.
She still has the best Quads ever made with those Tracker Quads with OJ Superjuice.
I may post pix if there is interest.

I sold a black/green needle nose that has Bobby's signature on the bottom. Regretfully so.
Does anyone know where it is residing at?

Thanks to all respondees. I got one axle out and failed on the second. But I figure a couple of cans of spinach [and a generous spray of WD40] and I'll be good for another try tonight. PW

Split Axle GW

the axle stubs are regular rh threaded. The ones I have removed came off relatively painlessly. It is possible they have been removed before and some sort thread lock compound was installed.
Just hold the hanger in a vise (with some soft jaws to not damage the hanger) then use a wrench or socket on the outboard hex. the hanger holds the internal locknut, and it just turns out.
If you are putting super gorilla moves on the axles and they are not moving, then I would definitely regroup to see what is wrong.

Anyone tell me, before I strain something, how to get the split axles out? Are they threaded "backwards" or anything? I realise they're probably not meant to come out but, you know, tweakage demands it... heh.
TIA, Pw

Brewingtons gear is always great....
I love a good Turner...
No such thing really..
Only GREAT Turners.
Should I post my collection??? Could be problematic with the logistical thing of getting them all together. I may do that this spring when I dust off the cobwebs and start thinking about my return to active racing here in the MidEast section.
All bulls#@! aside, I will actively race this 2009 season. I have much to atone for in my own mind, and a few I need people to sit down as a lesson.
So there it is.. My return.
Great stuff BB!!!
Always respectful. Just slightly a kook.
Bob Frias
Oh BTW, the black box number was 2112. Can you say RUSH? Sweet........

The Mark Baker Megatrons sold for a rather poor Thirty Two Pounds Sterling. Mind you. ..You can buy a small village for that here in U.K.
Does any kind wise person have any clues on Lazer Truck Pivot Cups? They measure about 14MM - 17MM Can I perhaps use Roller Skate Cups from a Skate Store?

Thank Justin from Japan as to this, thank buddy R for this, PSR for this and maybe another professional who emailed me prior. Some wanted different colors (did not), and others were warning me that a 270lb fat man could have trouble cause of lower trucks to deck, per manufacturer now a days.. So put in 1/2 risers, but I still bit it hard to the concrete wave!... Done on the Sand Hill Rd parking lots with sloping inclines, during lunch around lots of million dollar producers. How many saw me from their office windows, I don't know. I do know three were in parking lot looking for the deck with me as it shot backwards at 125mph!! It really scooted... After this experience I CHANGED out the wheels from 71mm to 62mm and made the difference! 5ply is fine for a 175lb wrestler still in good shape as I found out watching another. But for me, needs smaller wheels and I may add a .25 inch vintage riser...Sort of oreo it with my muscle and fat all mixed in... Rides sweet!! Slow, slalom style anyway. Cheers to all and its their fault another post by me... OH LOOK AT THE DECK front close. You can see the burn of the bite... It was stop, a huge flop forward, stick to the pavement sound, with a nice wheerling of the wheels as the deck space shuttled behind me going the opposite direction. Guess my feet push it backwards as I fall forward... Lordy, was not a pretty sight. Hysterical maybe, athletic. NO!

On the arrows front Dave Hackett was another pro who had a model That's the first time I've seen that grip job in years.
On the Megatron front I have both baker and non baker 205's as they where called
I also have an old "Alpine Action" price list that lists them along with Tony Alva trucks, now I've never seen Tony Alva Trucks but I have seen Alva bushings that are printed just like Megatron bushings which was rare back then.
Any buddy out there seen Alva Trucks and are they Megatrons ?

Hi Simon,
A kind person posted a link to Baker's New York Club. His voice has not changed at all. Hard guesswork to put a figure on the listed item. Simon Levene said they nearly all stayed in the U.K. At the time.

Nice Going Nathan From Japan!! :----) :----) The green alligators I explained in another email to you and repeat; I wanted different colors and brand names on my re-issues, or ride em slowly quiver of skateboards... SO NOW, you made me realize and accept into my thinking process that the Jay Z flex has Blue Alligators and the Santa Cruz has Green Alligators. Essentially a duplication!! I was willing to live with that till your post on this site!! SO NICE GOING Nathan :---)... I changed out the Blue Alligators on the Z Flex with semi clear Tunnels I had stashed. Now this weekend I am gonna take a picture of the Z flex with the new Tunnel wheels and YES... POST IT ON THIS PAGE!! Yet ANOTHER POST AND PICTURE from the Vintage Man... Blame it on Nathan www.ncdsa.com Vintage Page readers. Not me. I was fine and happy till he got me thinking... OH PSR, you were right on regarding the Allen Wrench Trucks not getting em quite stiff/tight enough :---) Good Call and experience thar my man!! Cheers...

tracker full tracks, baby blue wheels (dunno any brands - "TO" Probably) or tunnel rock transparent re-issues, blue risers and removal of the hand/face/dts/santacruz stickers IMO. It would give it a more vintage classic california look.
