Signal Hill Reunion, OK. Summer of 2006 (1976-Bloody Sunday-Reunion) In 1975 Guy Grundy and Mr. Hitchcock raced signal hill, in 1976 there were alot more racers, So Let get together, We want to reach everyone who is still alive and was there, Date and time TBA. Look where downhill has gone today, it's all over the world and it's a good thing. Send me your 2 cents and let's put together the biggest downhill reunion ever, Thanks Terry for the push, J.Hughes

Hello,
Sorry we're really late this year but we were really close of our goal: 2 sessions of 3 days of riding for more people, last weeks have been exhausting for my nerves... But finally it will "only" be a 3 days session on our 9.5 kms road. If you want ot come, a pre-registration is a mandatory on our website http://dde.asso.fr/ then "clic" on "IcI" (on the same line than Downhill Jamboree), then on "inscription", just fill in the form. There's still some room for the fastest, 350 riders will be accepted, if you 're after, you will be on the "wich to come" list. ;-) If you want more infos, send me an e-mail (don't expect any answer for the next day cause I'm overbusy at the moment but I'll answer)

ATTN ALL RIDERS: I have launched a new Message Board System for Gravity Bikes. If you are not a G-Biker, there is also a section for you! Please visit and register to make the board the number one location for Gravity Messaging! I am not affiliated with either GravityBike.com or StreetLuge.net.
As I began traversing the Internet, I realized that the boards that we use are really lame and outdated. Not to disrespect or anything, but they really aren’t as tech-savy as they could be. So I designed a forum that is fast, secure, and easy to use. PLUS it’s simple to register. Each user gets their own profile, Avatar Picture, and customized signature. Have a look and post away! See yall at the World Cup!
The Site Address is: Gbike.iwarp.com
Thanks and hope to see you there, Dan.

from canada....i don't think you want to help our sport. streetluge and gravity sports is in a transition right now and saying that it is an unsafe sport isn't true. i ride safe and support safe riding. go talk to the other sport leave streetluge alone. you are going to have a hard time finding this individual anyway. Reminds me of that old D.K. song "MTV get off the air" Your people suck! your shows suck! wasn't it Music TV at one time? Oh yeah, it sucked then too! You've blown out every idea in TV history and now you want to blow us out... F#@$ OFF!

You'll regret you ever laid eyes on that post. This isn't the way to expose your sport. Show some class and keep the soul. Prying eyes painting you as a "junky" malcontent or misfit won't take you anywhere but regretville. I've worked with MTV often and I can honestly tell you they are for the most part low class, low bid egotistical intern types. Tell em to make like a bannana -

Do you participate in living-life-on-the-edge activities such as BASE jumping, street luge, or free running? Or maybe you have a different extreme sport of choice? Either way, we want to hear from you! Is your extreme behavior causing problems in your personal or professional life? Are you addicted to high-risk activities? Have you gotten in legal trouble because of your extreme activities? Are you part of a group of extreme enthusiasts? Do your family and friends support your life on the edge?
If you are currently participating in a high-risk sport and you appear to be between the ages of 18-27, tell us all about you in an e-mail to edge@mtvstaff.com. Please include your name, location, phone number, and a recent photo.

Go to www.streetluge101.com and purchase that video! You can get some good ideas from the guys who make the best boards - Rogers Bros. Darren Lott, and Bob Pereyra. Plus, it gives you insight on other aspects of beginning the sport. Where to ride, how to close off roads, etc, etc.. Check it out!

Bonelli Park Race #3 *LINK*
Posted By: Marcus Rietema Date: 3/16/05, 4: 31 p.m.
The third Bonelli Park race in the 2005 California Championship Series was held this past Sunday in San Dimas. A total of 68 entries competed in six seperate catagories making this the largest Bonelli Park race so far this year. The weather forcast called for a beautiful sunny day but it was not to be. For the second race in a row the event was contested in the rain on a wet track.
Everyone in attendance seemed to take it in stride and made the best of the situation. We had some veteran racers competing who we haven't seen in years including Roger Hickey, Perry Fisser and Dean Salter. More old timers were on the sidelines and looking to make a comeback themselves. We also had a large number of young racers in attendance highlighted by 7year old Tabitha Collins in the Garland Restoration Stock Gravity Bike class and 9 year old Chase Orta in the Classic Style Luge race.
Event promoters Bob Ozman and Marcus Rietema would like to thank everyone who attended and our sponsors including Garland Restoration, Sector 9 Skateboards, One West Apperal, Twisted Cycles, Verizon Communications, Incycle, Covina Valley Schwinn and Coats Cyclery. The next California Championship Series event is scheduled for Saturday April 23rd on the twisty and technical Raging Waters course. We'll be keeping our fingers crossed for sunshine.
Results
Garland Restoration Stock Gravity Bike (12 racers) 1. Mike McIntyre $150 2. Rian James $75 3. Dave Kessler $25
Downhill Skateboard (12 racers) 1. John Rogers 2. Danny Conner 3. Rick Kludy
Downhill Inline (7 racers) 1. George Merkert 2. Scott Peer 3. Mark Henley
Street Luge (24 racers) 1. Torey Norell 2. Rob Ruhman 3. Mike McIntyre
Classic Style Luge (10 racers) 1. Robert Lammelien 2. Richard Hodkinson 3. Tyler Wendtland
