Scroll down and check out the TRS pics I posted. I know you are looking for a pegged sled but with you small size you would dominate with a small pegless on technical stuff.
Contact Steve Fernando stevefernando@hotmail.com. Tell him Justin sent yah.

Swap out the kingpin bolt for a grade 9 bolt, add stiffer bushings and flip the hanger over and you have a R2B truck.

Congrats to Gwen and Dr No for another splendid festival weekend! No race is more friendly, sunny (apart from the tornado warnings and deluge), and chill with such close, open racing. (for that, thank Crash Corner).
Racer to watch: Tony Mistretta: he's discovered straightline speed and has a humungous push..
For whomever asked for results, this is all I can remember:
Pro Street Luge 1. Dave Auld 2. Richard Hod (by six inches, damn!) 3. Mark Dominguez 4. Tony Mistretta
Pro Buttboard 1. Richard Hod 2. Chris McBride 3. Roland Morrison 4. Smokin Joe
Junior Luge 1. Kyle from Blue Smoke
Jet Luge 1. Secret Squirrel, even though it broke down... ;-)
What a welcome and a wonderful weekend. I heard that the karaoke was something else too...

Loic won the Streetluge and the Buttboard races in Insul, Germany (Euro Champs), the Luge race in Are Sweden and the Streetluge and Buttboard races at the World Champs in Switzerland. The wins were well deserved 'cause he was by far the fastest rider on the course.
congrats + respect

sc8 luges doesn't come from airplanes technology, even if the crazy shaper Stephane Chaperon (who also makes SC8 longskates n buttboards) has been contacted by an airplanes factory to help them develloping plane's wings! for the price, custom made chassis with custom made fairing is available for 1500 euros. you can choose stiffness of the wood part's chassis (2 different for the moment), width of carbon sit (2 also), colour of wood (so many!!! pix commin soon on website), colour of leather bumpers n "head support" (black, white, red, blue, grey, silver etc etc...) a last new for info, these luges won IGSA world championships this week-end in swiss; 1st loic zaccaro, 2nd ex aequo Stephane Chaperon n Yvon Labarthe. good proof of the high quality of these luges... cya

Just a few corrections for the last post. First off, the TRS '06 costs $800.00 US. This is for a boomless version of my design. I build each to the specs of the owners size and weight with some allowances for personal preferences( handle height, length, sled weight, etc) I built one for Justin of the Toxic Bros Racing, take a look at his site for pictures of his sled. It contains some performance upgrades that I feel makes the sled much more responsive to rider input. My sled typically weigh in around the 25-30lbs which I feel is optimum. I build each sled to be a complete "Take-Down" which I developed to facilitate travel. This feature also makes repairs easier while "out-in-the bush". A problem I encountered while participating in the Playstation Games in Australia. If anyone cares to hear more or see pics, just write me... I'm happy to answer and "bench race".

SC8, TRS, and a Velum which do you like?

Fernando's TRS luge costs $900 a great piece, the Velum costs $600, and the SC8 probably costs $39,450....wel it might as well, I'm sure it's out of everyones price range like thier boomed luge. It just reaks of technology. It was either the TRS or cut my boom off of my existing one. Here is the SC8 from france, TRS from the USA, and a Velum from france, I personally like the Velum. Minimal parts, not bulky.

Fryer then faked diving into the last hairpin way too early and then swept back to the outside, causing Forschner to break immediately, and putting him a little out of control.
thanks for the tips, we gonna see us again on some tracks....

Hey John, there was a company called 1) Inazuma, made really questionable luges, and 2) Xtreme Wheelz.jp (originally owned by Rick Wilson) also went under. As far as I know, I did a little research, there is no company in Japan that makes them anymore, but you figure they have to be somewhere there. You'd figure they would make one. Keep looking, you never know. I'll keep an eye for it too. Only cause now it's a mission. I'll let you know what I find. Don J
