Try some bones bombers, they work pretty good. I also saw the new gravity wheels. They are pretty hard, but I haven't tried them. The "Super G's" look good too, they are a little softer. Ok, later.

So one of my Rapid Ferret Racing teammates bought up the last remaining
known sets of 88mm Santa Cruz Road Weapons... Dang!
Howcum Labeda is the only outfit (that I know about...) that makes a
90mm wheel that's not just for inline skates?
Anybody know what those huge electric-green wheels the X-games lugers
were riding are, who makes em, where can I get em?

These wheels are Groovin! They take a little while to break into them, but once you do , they fly. Control is the most important thing. They take a little encouragement to slide but you never have to worry about the board getting away from you. Check them out at www.freerideskate.com, you'll be stoked!

they're fast, they go anywhere, and they grab attention. for anyone who is sick of trick skating or just wants a change from longboarding, go grab some i did and i haven't looked back since.they can also be mounted on longboards, more speed, more looks but the style factor aint as good.
they're a must for anyone who skates!!!

If you like haulin ass or bombing hills without slideing all
over these wheels are for you. The only downside to
these wheels is you go maybe a little too fast and you
can't slide. Does any one know where you can find a
brake for these big-ass wheels? Also these babies coast
like riding on a cushion of air and there completly silent.
The most unnique thing about these wheels are the fact
they're made out of rubber and have a nylon core.
Another setback is that they weight 1lb. apiece.
But beside all that if you want your board to preform like a
race car and corner even better these are a must.

I bought these with my first longboard about five years ago. They got a big exposed core that keeps them real light. They're made from a fast Krypto like brew but being a touch smaller, they don't sustain as long as my Krypto Red 70's but because of the weight, damn, they get up to speed faster then any other wheel I've been on. They put Sector 9 70's to shame in all respects. Overall a great ride and they can slide like no other 78A can. There's only one catch - I can't seem to find them anywhere. If anyone's got the word where to find these classic rides let me know.

these whells rule!!! I was first goin to get some sector 9 70mm wheels to fit my sector 9 longboard but after seein these baby's I had to get them and lemmie tell you they rip they have grip when you need it and can slide on command , nice smooth and soft rides are all these give ya --later--

This is a very fast wheel (with powell swiss bearings) they are HUGE (76mm) and seem to be aroung 78a. They just run forever with very few pushes and are my current wheel of choice on a 44" longboard with X.Kate trucks. With this setup I can pump up to a good speed with absolutely no fear of a slide (in fact with this setup I dont think I could slide as the wheels have a load of grip and the trucks just turn and turn).
But on the downside I was very pissed with SOH as one of the wheels was so badly poured that one side of the wheel simply fell off and there are bubble tracks in the running surface.
I've mailed SOH with my complaint as asked for a new wheel to be sent as this should have been picked up when they were send as it was REALLY obvious, so far no reply (thanks a lot guys, good customer service :( )
They are good wheels, but if you are thinking of getting them, dont trust SOH to send them, go in and purchase them from the store and check what they are gining you.

These wheels look tight! They feel very soft and give you the feeling of quality. These soft, rubber wheels work like peanut buttter and jelly with the cement. Mine are a clear/red color which looks great with the board.

These are the biggest wheels I've ever skated! Not to mention the softest. I was told they have aluminum hubs (but I think they're plastic). Being 76mm's these things really move. Being 78a, they grab the road like bags of soft cheese. On more than one sharp turn today, on anything harder, I would presently be applying stinging medication to,what was formerly known as, my face. I haven't tried the red Kryptos,yet (I know, I know, I'll get some) so I can't compare them. These are the best wheels I've ever owned.
