I live in Jacksonville, and surf and windsurf at Hugenot Park (the only way to get to the North Jetty). 1) The dunes are tops 30 feet 2) It's against the law (envirowacs at work) to even walk on the dunes, much less sandboard on them... Sorry... Wish we had a good sandboarding spot - never tried it, but I've seen some hot videos, and it looks fun..

Does anyone know if the Dunes at the North Jetty in florida are worth the effort? i would guess they are about 75 ft tall (the big one off to the left) and they are fairly steep. By the north Jetty i mean the jetty on the northern side of the river by the navy base at mayport. I am asking because i plan on making a sandboard within the next few weeks then taking a trop, i live at Folly Beach, SC and the North Jetty is about 2 hours closer than Nags Head. anyone?

Back to Oregon! Yes, I'm headed back to Florence to Sand Master Park for the 4th of July week with junior champ, Jeremy Tutorow and national champ Josh Tenge. Anyone serious about sandboarding who comes to Oregon simply must stop by and see the new store. You'll be surprised!

Sand Master Park is now fully functional and features jump ramps, rail slides, a cliff and slopes for every level of sandboarding. The park store carries the largest selection of sandboards on this planet with a display of more than 100 sandboards. Sand Master Park is located in Florence, Oregon right on Hwy. 101 next to the Fred Meyer store. Stop in and see us!!
