Heya Tone
Heheh, just kidding! Its road days are over. Glad you got yourself a Hester. Mines safe and sound. I fight the temptation to put it on e-bay. I've almost got over selling the rest of my gear to you ;-) It's in good hands, though :) Did you see that Jay Smith going for big bucks on e-bay? I remember when your one looked like that. I saw a little kid at the Tuggeranong park on Saturday being taught on a near mint old OZI Skate complete. Short flat single-kick, yellow Power Pivot, soft yellow 64mm wheels, OZI trucks with blue plastic baseplates and actual _rubbers_. A piece of sh!t of course, but fun to see it under a new generation of feet.
I've been meaning to give you a call about other matters, one day. Catch you then.
BTW, guys, I'll drop in on Jack from Adrenalin today and see what he and his hard chargin' mates have got planned.
Cheers Rick

...was that Jack you had a skate with? He's the local gun and the guy to talk to about what's happening here. I'll try to hook up with him next week, see what's happening and get back to you, Dex and a couple of others.
Cheers Rick

Downhill days in ACT

Adrenalin + here in the ACT have organised a couple of downhill days here in the ACT and it looks like becoming a monthly thing. It's a pretty relaxed affair and we're still feeling our way as to what different people want to do, but it's a good time. There are some hard chargers who get up some serious speed, others who like to run a few cones and others looking to cruise. Send me an e-mail if you're interested or call James at Adrenalin. It'll be good to see you there. The more the merrier.

Sittin here in central california watchin the rain and communicating with people on the other side of the world through a server in the east bay . Is this cool or what? Thanks Adam and Crew at ncdsa for helping us downhillers . Now back to the subject at hand . Event insurance in the states is about 300 usd .This is for public liability .The brits have suggested travel insurance for personal coverage. How much is event insurance in australia ? A company in australia makes "air fences" for motorcycle road races . Does anyone have experience with this. Thanks
