Don't worry Matthew, the races you'll be here for will be manly enough! Harper Ditch Race and the Bear Slalom Cross will test your skills and leave you with a smile! Mercado, I'll miss you for the Bear Cross, we'll show you the course so you can try it. You have never dropped the Bear have you?

Glad you're going to make it out this year but unfortunately it looks as if I'll be leaving just about the time you arrive. That's too bad but I'm stoked you're coming out again. Email me if you need anything. I would imagine you'll be taking the FURTHEST TRAVELLED award this year again and I hope you take more....

Speaking of that, Joe, I'm surprised you have not done THAT contest yet! ;)

Skated Indian School for the 1st time in a long time on Saturday with like 12 out of towners and a few locals. I forgot what a gas that ditch is. Checked out Harper yesterday, I am already stoked for April!
Has anyone checked out the progress on La Cueva lately? I remember last fall it was looking really nice, very promising.
I can't wait for the ditch spank!

My jab at biker was just having a little fun with GI and the Marshalls discussion about pushing. Obviously the guy has skill and may very well win some races. I do think it would be cool if he towed into Rio Bravo though. That would kick ass!

Biker cares. We all do. He's cool and packs it up hard. He is very "safe", and has many safety meetings while riding his toy. It will be fun to have him around. He did a lot for longboarding, racing and skateboarding in general. He is a good self-promoter. But, he shouldn't use a pick of himself below the coping in an ad though. Thats so 1974.

I dont think biker needs a motorcycle pull to win the race, even though the guy has not been riding much, but he's the best, and he doesn't even care which is even better. It's just a toy, go shred, because who really gives a s#@!.

Harper does have a roll in from the church parking lot, do you think that would be enough speed for a good start?
Steve C, we'll make Biker leave his motor bikes at home. It will be good to race him after all these years, he says that he never stopped skating.
PALMER, get the Marshall AWAY from his desk and out on his board so he's not so grumpy.

But c'mon having a 100 yard push into Harper is a bit over the top.
There won't be much pushing (oops I mean kicking) at Indian School, The Qualifier or at the Death Race..... And your start at Indian School and The Qualifier will not affect your final placing.
Was kicking really a benefit at the Bear? It appears that the usual suspects end up on the podium even after you took away their "advantage" with that roll in.
Not dissing the roll in at all - that thing was a blast!
