I could have sworn I raced in that qualifier at Morris. It doesn't really matter, though. I prefer that you lose my times anyway. ;)

Thanks to Joe and Timeship for putting on an extremly fun multi venue event. And cheers to all those that showed up for the fun. I look forward to next year. It is going to take a few days to recover from skating 10 to 20 miles a day for 10 days. 100% skateboarding.

me and some boys from salt lake have been dreaming for years about getting out of the north and riding ditches for years. we are trying to plan a trip to nm to live out the dream. none of us have ever been so we need so local guidance. i know there's tons of secrecy involved, just like pow stashed up here. but we've just been itching to ride ditches. any help would be awesome, we just want to skate, not make a spectacle, and we are great at avoiding unwelcome police encounters. shoot me an e-mail @ skater618@hotmail.com anyone who would be willing to share the treasure you have down there would be much appreciated with food/beer/green. thanks from SLC

ditch slap is over and i think everybody who attended the whole week is walking away with a limp, either due to getting ditch slapped or just a severe case of noodle legs. what a week. i suggested to joe next year prizes need to include a massage package.

Today we watched as the rain water cleaned the Bear for us, hit Calvary, then harper, then Carmel, then Indian School then harper back to the hotel. Matthew arrived from England and tomorrow we head to Rio Bravo etc.
Next up, Harper Ditch Race then the Bear Slalom Cross, and the awards party at Kelly brew pub. Big props to Josh Burt for an amazing comeback after nearly feeding the Bear. Getting mauled is not the same as actually feeding the Bear!
Huey, if you beat Brunson one more time we're putting you on the Team!

Big thanks to Palmer, George, Joe and anyone else who had a hand in the weeks events. Had a killer time. It was great seeing everyone. Had to bust out early to surf water in Costa and it sure is nice here, but the concrete waves of Albuquerque are the best thing I've ever ridden on any board. Can we do it again in October??
