This is starting to suck. My foot had a little infection. It could have been bad but I think its taken care of. I am off the I.V. and now just taking doxicyline by mouth. I can see the roof of my house and want out bad.
Its been fun, bu I am over it. SOMEONE Break my out soon. Foot looks and smells normal. It stunk bad.

Weird... my previous message was posted without me finishing it or even filling in the black box number...
Well, anyway... I wanted to thank everybody involved in any possible way in making the Buckeye Open 3.0 happen. Particularly you Kenny (of course) and all your staff/friends/family (Bara is included somewhere in here), Paul for the timing, and MB and all the coneheads. You can count on Fullbag's support for next year.
Special thanks to Rob who crashed on his scooter just because he wanted to give me a lift back up. Hope you'll enjoy your Fullbag GS board!
Seeing old friends, making new ones, great racing, great courses, fantastic hill, free beer, free RedBull, free ice cream, cheap food, fun parties in thrashy motel 666 with cops showing up is a pretty hard to beat combination... :)
My only regret is to have missed the park sessions... :(
But there's always next year! :)

Bara, what you have are the results. Position, name & qual times. Just making sure were clear as you know I was pretty wiped last not attaching it the 1st. time.

Claude sent me scoresheets last night....i openned them this morning but didnt have time to upload yet...i only have the qualifyers though, no brackets yet...i'm hoping the brackets come thru sometime today and i'll get them all up here in the Gong tonight

Just got off the phone with Kenny at the hospital and he says things are looking a lot better from yesterday. They are probably only going to keep him one more day. The wound care specialist looked at his foot this morning and they are taking good care of him. He says he is just chilling out in his street clothes, watching the tube, reading Grateful Dead books, and drinking coffee.

Donald as soon as Paul verifies them completely they will be forwarded. He has a real job and took 4 days from it to run the timing. I forwarded him all the files and I know he was working on them last night.

I wanted to make it in a bad way (almost came up Fri night) but as usual Weekends for me are next to impossible, I'm pretty much requested evey weekend by guests I've taken down the river for years.. I told Cat and others I would do my best as well... Turns out, it would a cost me over $900.00 when alls said and done!

What a great race! What other slalom race do you have:
-Two scooters shuttling riders to the top of the hill
-High Hat Club
-Hot Dogs and Hamburgers, chips, drinks available for the racers.
-A keg Friday night, another all day Saturday.
-Ice Cream truck roll up with FREE ice cream!
-Schwag pile that had enough decks for ALL open racers and coneheads, plus more!
-the Pro riders cheering and doing the Wave for the Open racers on Sunday.
-All the Red Bull you could drink!
-Seeing the Mollica Family (including his sisters!)
-Team LeSport reunion after 30 years ( where were ya Dave G?)
-Jack Shack at Motel 666
T-Shirts AND stickers with the Buckeye 3.0 logo.
Getting eliminated in the TS 32-bracket by a Canadian (Rob Sydia) and then him offering me a REAL Canadian Lager.
There was more, but it all blends into one good time! Thanks Kenny -such a good MC we may need him to come out for the Nationals!!-Geo

Just got a call from Kenny. He is at Riverside Hospital waiting to be admitted so they can pump his foot with antibiotics. Seems that his suture has become infected and stunk like hell. His doctor advised him that he needed treatment ASAP. He is still stoked about the Race weekend but now has to deal with his foot. Call him if you got his number.
