It was his photos along with the other greats of that time that inspired us to skate here in North Carolina.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of such and inspiration in their time of sorrow.
May God bless you and keep you.

Warren Bolster, pioneering master of surf and skateboard photography, and founding editor of SkateBoarder Magazine, died Wednesday in Hawaii.
He gave everything he had to what he loved.
Warren is survived by sons Edward and Warren, Jr.
If it had not been for Warren's passion and dedication, many of our lives would be very different.

The dvd is awesome, but of course, it makes me sad to see my DRIFT CLIP beein part of the Gravity pr,motion since it was for my own promotion. I did the editing...just so everybody know.
Way to go Michael, i liked it.
Cant wait to get my own copy.

Michael,
Another awesome issue of CW--absolutely loved that 70's style Tailtap ad! The Evolutions 2 DVD rocked--definitely made me want to move to BC for the downhill! Way to go Michael, keep it coming!

This country could use a good laugh. I mean that in the kindest way CB.
Kudos to Mr. Webmaster for the splash page. I'm not sure impeachment is the answer, but it's a damn sure worthy subject for debate.

Oldtimer, I had no idea you were named as the spokesman of the sites sponsors....You made mention you discussed the IMPEACH issue with a few vendors already....are you acting as spokesman to the people who view this forum as well?
It's a topic that the owner of this site wanted to bring to our attention...some people like it, some dont....many just disregard it....but you're putting yourself at the forefront of the issue....
You dont like it.......ok.....we get it

Slim, We use the site for free, partially due to the fact of the advertisers $s. While I am entitled to my views re: politics, and freely express them, thanks to this wonderful country we cherish. In no way dues that freedom lend itself to misrepresentation of the vendors! I know of 3 such vendors whom are VERY upset by the blatant display of disregard. It's acts like this that undermind the very existance of what we all enjoy.

the only guys talking politics here are the guys who claim they have no interest in talking politics!
as for the message on the home page, when we all get our own websites, we can decide what's on the home page. for now, i think we'd be awfully selfish to complain about one word on the home page considering all the work he puts in to make this place we enjoy for free.

Yo' Slim, I think you're missing David and Sumdum's point! Talk of presidential impeachment is best left to its' proper forum--say CNN or C-span! I'm pretty sure the words of our skating trade don't make the latest transcripts in the halls of Congress, so...

it's pretty funny that the only guys talking about politics here are the ones saying "please, let's not talk about politics!" I mean, nobody else brought it up but dave and mark!
me? it doesn't bother me either way. if i can handle someone promoting the virtues of, say, tracker trucks, i can handle someone promoting the impeachment of the president, ha!

first they go after "islamofascists", then it's "liberals", next it's the rest of the "undesirables" (including maybe skateboarders and punk rock?)
the men (and women) who fought for our freedom over two hundred years ago didn't wear uniforms.......they weren't the standing army of any established government.....they fought for what they believed in and what they knew was right

David, no need for apologies. This website should be and IS about skateboarding. I don't watch television... especially the news. The only t.v. I'll watch is The Simpsons. Same reason I skateboard and surf so much... to NOT have to deal with the negative crud that the everyday world dishes out.
I fully agree with your post. I've been on the Internet since 1994 and there are three things that I won't discuss online. Politics is one of 'em. Can someone (Adam? Michael?) please explain why we need to see that "Impeach" page when we log onto N.C.D.S.A. now? People want to visit this place 'cause it's about what we all love; SKATEBOARDING. Politics can be discussed on the respective sites and/or with each other in person, on the phone, or via e-mails.
PLEASE don't let our skateboard forums be reduced to this. Thanks!

Please don't take any of what I am about to say as an attack on anyone, but geeez, does this site have to go there too?! I frequent this site for talk and info about skateboarding, not politics and definitely not talk or references to impeaching our President. Yes, I do have a biased position on all this, as a Republican and former US Army Ranger, but I'm not about to waste my time arguing about political matters here. Can we please keep this about skating?! If I am out of line, please accept my apologies."

Hi Michael,
In the last issue, Vol 5 No 1 , Summer 2006 The open spread picture "Final Race at Danger Bay 2006" shot by Nathan Harris was one of the best downhill pics I have seen.
How do I contact Nathan Harris for a digital pic copy for my desktop?
