Hey there.
I am doing a speech on longboarding because I enjoy it sooo much. There's the part of the speech that I just can't fill because information on the history of longboarding seems scarce. I was wondering if there is anywhere that I can find valid information on longboarding and when it was established. Thanks!

My life was turned upside down about three months ago. I took a buyout from Ford and I'm back in school trying to start my life over. It's going well but i'm super busy and trying to stay focused. My family's life depends on it. No money or time for fun stuff like skateboarding. I will find a way to make the Buckeye.
Cheers Flounder

Ok--- I have gotten some comments on my last post--- let me elaborate a little.
The drool was from falling asleep, not lust. I'm too old to have those thoughts!
I finished not only the Fadell article last night, but read the whole mag! It was so great I had to have a cigarette after----- and I don't even smoke!
Uh oh, I just contradicted myself! Oh well, what's a day without a good contradiction!

I stopped at my PO Box last night on my way back from slalom practice to find the new issue of Concrete Wave. This morning I woke up with the mag still open to page 63 and the slightest bit of drool on the Greg Fadell article. I'll finish it when I get home tonight, it should be dry by then! Flounder has been MIA for a while, we were supposed to get together and shoot but it didn't work out. So per ususal I had to set up everything (lights, camera, lens, sutter speed, aperature, angle) and enlist fellow sessioners/assistants to supply the trigger finger. The camera gets passed around and I don't really know what I have till I download. Could have been one of a couple of people?
Thanks JBH, and thanks M. Brooke for supporting the scene!
Thanks to X for doing the interview!

thanks... I seem to recall asking Greg about that shot...I think he said th shot was a self portrait - we'll get to the bottom of things
cheers Michael
ps In my opinion, Greg Fadell is the one of the top slalom/downhill photographers in the world...we will be featuring a lot more of his work.

Michael, the new issue is looking good! You really got a nice mix this time: vert, street, DH, sliding, slalom, a mix of pros and unknowns, and on several continents to boot.
Thanks especially for the killer profile on Greg Fadell. Except for one "zit" (below), I think it was the best short interview you've ever run. Everything was top shelf. Jason asked great questions, and Greg, of course, gave some great answers. The photos were fantastic as well. (Who knew Dominik had such a good eye?) My only quibble: Whoever took the full-page opening photo (Steve Rinaldi, aka Flounder?) deserves credit. Otherwise, bra-VO. :-)
