I gotta get out to skate that skate (and snowboard it too!) Thanks for your kind words, Trish.
I just got back from Montreal and hit a few shops...it was nice to hear the feedback about CW and the fact that customers are demanding VARIETY
thanks to everyone on this board and dozens of companies around the world, the global skate groove is exploding

I love sharing the stoke of skating and CW helps show all the different aspects of skating. Had all the kids in there stokin' to do a little slalom and some "real downhillin'" Thanks Michael and thanks to Enoch at Brothers Bikes in Heber city Utah!

Barrett nice article on Mike Cividino and Chris Dahl. It is well deserved for Civ and long overdue as well.
Looking forward to teaming up with both of in Paris and try to Podium again!

I am so stoked to have it in the mail since yesterday....and I feel sorry for the folks that live closer, but have not gotten theirs yet.
Lots of stuff to read, I guess that I have to take 1/2 day off from work.

Hi Michael,
KUDOS on letting the readers ask the questions for George Powell's interview. Were there any additional questions/answers that did not make it into print? If any exist, would be cool to see them on concretewavemagazine.com

Congrats to Steve Daddow on the cover shot! I met him when he came to St. Louis in 2003 on his "world tour." :-) He seemed like a super-nice guy and, of course, a very good skater.

when i say old i mean old! i remember the first road rider and kyrptonics wheels i mounted on my g&s fiberflex long board then soaring down the biggest hill we could find in the suburbs of phillytown. we put urathane down on south street.im talkin 1974 and there abouts.dogtown hadnt been born yet. just a note to let u know that we were out there long ago and before alot of you were even born. flying to flordia to ride the first parks ever... there was alot of probloms back then finding the concrete wave so we went lsr straight line downhill for the thrill. christ we play in traffic back then for the fun of it. now the whole thing has turned to a club affair and u folks out there on those tiny wheels and trick board are out of ur minds.. bring back the long boards and large diameter wheels and the real quality parts like in the begining when they were just finding out what a durometer was...? well just looking for some old gear like some fresh road rider wheels and some pure vintage good stuff to get my old bones back in the mood! who knows i might even start makin boards again.... as always at your service.....hotwax333

Wow, thats awesome to see a downhill skateboarder on the cover of a magazine, the last time it happened was for Thrasher's 10th anniversary issue with a high contrast shot of Hutson no?
Can't wait to read it.
