Cheers 1848, to be honest since coming out of Hospital nearly a year ago now, Ihave been on My board only twice,Both times I hit the deck like a sack of s**t.Needless to say the confidence has gone a bit, I just need to get My strengthback somemore in My right leg and I should be ok.My main problem is the nerve damage in My right Hip and Foot. The Foot is a problem as I find it really hard to feel the board underfoot as it were.I'm determined that next year I will be going through cones both at Hyde Park andBrighton on a Friday night. At the moment I'm really busy at work as its party season so lots of overtime and work.Laters.Edwin (LSD)

Stickers for sale on B-S-T.How is everyone, all seems quite for the Winter months.Had a scan about a month ago and all looks good.Nodules in My Lung are behaving so scans have changed to every 4 months insteadof every 3 months now.Looks like I'll have a permanent limp though as the nerve damage in Hip, Leg and Foothas reached its recovery level .Insert Pirate joke please............the kids have already bagged " Sir Limps-a-lot".My only real discomfort is not getting a decent nights sleep these days because its so awkward laying on My Hip etc.Anyway enough wingeing, hope all are looking forward to Chrimbo. What will Father Christmas bring little Johnny this year !latersEdwin (LSD)

I really want to skate today but I went over on my ankle last night (yes it was beer related!) and it is a bit tender this morning so I don't think I would be doing myself any favours. So alas no HP for me dammit!Rob (LSD)

This mail was sent into the new ISSA media enquiries inbox, anyone out there interested?"Hello Rob and Paul, I'm contacting you because the experts we're working with to create a new science show, have told us that the skills exhibited by Skateboarders are probably transferable into a range of other disciplines. The premise of the programme is to reveal latent skills and abilities in people, and to offer certain amongst them the chance to develop, nurture and excel in a related field. So for example, a Skateboarder might find that they have exceptional hand-eye co-ordination and therefore, with expert training, could become a world class pilot within a 6month time frame. We are aiming to expose the potential in people through a series of scientific assessments, led by top industry experts - these will cover core areas of cognitive and physical ability. The assessment days will be in London, on one of the following days:6th / 7th / 13th / 14th I would like to extend an invitation to as many skateboarders (over the age of 16) as would like to take part. If you could make the opportunity known via forum / mailing list it would be very much appreciated. To apply simply email: hidd enpotential@silverriver.tvPlease do call or email me if you'd like to discuss any of the details further, Very Kindest Regards,Jane Jane Barrie \
