R U still goin down tomorrow? i definatley need another soul session. Yesterday was was cool, and from what you said Wednesday is when there are a few other skaters, so it would be cool to link up with like minded peps.

Hey guys,
Wicked weekend - well done Johnny X, Matt, Darren and Jon it was wicked racing with all of you - for me the best bit of the weekend was meeting Jim, but that might be a personal thing. More riders came off this weekend than the year it rained, just shows how hard we were all pushing! I have the same request as Darren desperate for piccys, my official photographer was busy getting laid and flying kites! Typicall! So really could use sopme shots. Ayway hope your all well, don't suppose anyone found a set of TSG elbox pads as I lost my brand new ones
Peace

All I can say is Watch out for Gis in the slalom and Downhill. sub 15 second run at Hayle with only a couple of slalom sessions under his belt and 42ish second time at Bude on a board he had never ridden before, never rode Randal D/H trucks, no Downhill experience really at all... Go Kernow GO!!!!

Well, I did'nt go to work today (already booked off thank god). I had a nice kip for most of the afternoon to get over the severn hours it took to get home from Hayle. Simon past us on the A303 doing about a ton, mind you I was doing about 90mph myself. We did catch up with down the road though.
To everyone who organised or just helped on both days I'd like to say thank you very much for looking after us all.
The downhill was a joy to behold. Having watched downhill over the years at Brands Hatch watching it on an open road was something else to behold. Great racing, great speed and good fun. A word to the commentator, when are you starting your stand-up career, very funny indeed. The Slalom was held in the morning at Bude on a closed road which was not too steep but just right for the guy's that had'nt ridden for a while or were entering for the first time. It was great to meet some new faces to me like Matthew, Tim, Gavin and other's, remember lads, practise, practise, practise. I'm pretty stoked at getting third on both days, but I can think myself lucky a few people couldn't make it.
See you at Eastbourne, Matt , Tim and Gavin try to make it.
Edwin. P.S. Well done Simon.

Firstly what a great weekend we had in Bude and Hayle. Thanks to all who were involved in organising the events. Well done to Darren, Jonnyx, Jim and David for the downhill, great to watch. Well done to Ed for his 2 third places. Simon was unstoppable as usual! Nice to meet everyone again. Pleased with my time on Sunday ( nice course, Simon). Thanks for my board which was provided by Darren. Would welcome seeing any pics. Leon

I think special congrats should go to Darren, Matt and Johnny X who all competed well in the slalom on Saturday, then all placed in the top 3 in the Downhill. It was fab cheering them on in the downhill, and it probably shows that slalom is a great form of skating that help you in all disciplines. We think of all those guys as Slalomers, so in a way we all had a great victory at Bude.
Also thanks to Darren and Shiner for the donation of the Comet deck on Sunday.

Note to self: must get dodgy 80s shirt repaired and also pop to Boots for further supplies of fake tan and cover-up cream.
Good to see Cozzie, Graham, Michael and Ed skating under omenous skies last night. Have an excellent time in Cornwall y'all! (Boosters up front, Alley Cat WetSlicks rear)

1. the forecast is lovely for the weekend in the west 2. pasties and cream teas 3. its by the coast so loads of lovelies in bikinis (don't tell the wife i said that) 4. you'll get a chance to laugh at me on sunday as i attempt the hayle course riding 50mm 99a newschool wheels because they're the only things slow enough that'll allow me to make the course if its anywhere as near as had as the one you set last time!

Safe trips to Cornwall guys. Looks like the points standing could change a bit in the series. Grab them while you can. Had a great time at HP with old guy returnee Cozzie last night. Looking fitter than most of us, he got back into cone running really quickly. Another skater to watch out for. Sam Gordon was blasting on his new Roe, the guy is our version of the Hulk, once he rips off his lumberjack shirt he turns into a mean machine....only not musclely or green, but you get the picture. HAve a great weekend wherever you are, Michael.

I'm sorry to say I'll miss the slalom this weekend. I'm on a stag do in Pamplona running the bulls! Racing Richy in the slalomcross was good training. I wanted to skate past them but the cobbeled streets strewn with broken glass is not the best surface. I'll have a few too many Kalimotxo and see ya next week I hope. Thanks and hasta las torres !!
