Had a great hot hot hot time in sunny Switzerland. Not too up on the final results yet. I made a spectacular fall racing hard with Paul Price, nicely captured in stills and video. Luckily no broken bones. It was great to see so many interntional racers, and so many brits too. Only Paul Price could manage to get a re run due to ice patches...!!! See you all soon, Michael

A huge thank you to Jadranko and everyone else involved in organising the weekend, what an amazing 2 days - thank you all for making us feel so welcome. Blazing sun, blazing racing, fantastic! Here's a couple of shots of the Pro Class winners of Saturday's tight and Sunday's GS - there's loads more pictures to come....
Paul Price, Maurus Strobel and the winner - Luca Giammarco
Richy Carrasco, Chris Hart, Maurus Strobel and the winner - Luca Giammarco
I'm sure someone will post up the full results once everyone's recovered. Can't wait to come back next year! (Sorry for the posting here and in the CH forum, but didn't want anyone to miss seeing this)

Hey wankers! didn't anybody besides josh go to the soulbowl event these last two days? Hi Simon! when r you comin back accross? Catalina?... wished I could've been over there for this weekend...the knee's jacked....would've loved to see if lucian hendricks, sean goff(sp?), (did d. Webster ever make it out of Texas?), etc would come outof the woodwork for the event. Would really have LOVED to see Sean G. take cab out w/ some balls out, sketchy-ass, english vert-skating!

Mustud LTD, the UK’s freshest longboard skateboard shop is celebrating its first summer online at the Mustud demo day on 12th July in Hyde Park, London.
If you fancy giving longboard skating a try then this is your opportunity as there will be a wide selection of demo boards from makes such as Gravity, Turner and Bozi plus longboarding hints from people in the know.
We will meet on the north shore of the Serpentine Lake, adjacent to the drinking fountain at 2pm where there is an excellent wide surface on which to skate. If you already own a longboard then bring it along and we will service and safety check it for you.
So tell your mates, bring a picnic and some beers and come join us.
See link for map and please email us to let us know you are coming: demo@mustud.com

Greenwich was fast on Sunday - even the grass which seemed like a good way to avoid all those funny people without sk8s walking around

Jim has contacted Brands and they were very pleased with us, and we had no impact on their day. This means we are welcome with open arms again. As there was no marshall I shall send a donation to St Johns ambulance for £60, the agreed daily rate. This is as soon as I can sign a check!!!!!
Thanks to all, come again.
Membership details may take a time upload as will points etc. I will do my best.

Just noticed the UKSSA site says that Hayle is 30 mins drive from Bude. Its actually about 70 miles, so I'd leave yourself a bit longer than half an hour to get there.
Unless Smokestack is driving, of course........
