Jadranko has e-mailed me as he is comming over for eastbourne. I can not make it as I am without a car. I have asked him where he is flying into as he is looking for a lift and to be put up.
I am sure one of you guys down south could oblige, as we owe him.
I will give you all the details when he lets me know the flight times etc. If anyone wants to email him directly let me know at ocnnrdvdocnnr@aol.com and I will pass on his email address.
Cheers.
Cheers

Just got back from holiday and would like thank a few people for their help at Bude. Thanks to Toby and his crew for organising the event, a fantastic day of racing.
A big thanks to John, Pete and the guys from Conspiracy for their hospitality. (hope the shoulder is ok John!)
Thanks to Michael Stride of Octane/Turner for coming to my rescue with a set of very quick ceramic bearings. There is more to come from those Avila wheels too Mike, they ruled the hill at another location we tested!
Thanks to Jonnyx for the big blue kryps, could not have kept up at Bude without them! Cheers for the skate session on Tuesday and the lift back. Looking forwards to skating with you guys again.
Last, but no way least, thanks to Lushlongboards for the support and the Spooky Evo raceboard which was so stable to ride throughout the event. Missed not getting to race with you this year Chris, but then I would have beaten you again anyway, so no worries!

Hi to all my skating chums.
I just wanted to say how great the site is to keep me in touch with reality. Having got the letter from the MOD inviting me to join the party in Basra, Iraq, Without choice, I had to go,
I have been here for 5 weeks now and am here til November. The sand out here would not be too good for the bearings and the 55 degree heat would make you 100+ dura wheels seem like red Kryps.
Keep on posting as its my only lik with the skating world
Enjoy you summer,
Ps Poolhog please say hi to all the boys at ROM. Ratboy and stretch, keep your wheels turning till I'm home.
Regards
Cpl Baron Von Midlander

All hail teaching as a career! I haven't skated for weeks due to work, but now I don't have any work until September so it's chocks away - if anyone's looking for a slalom chum daytimes for the next 6 weeks, let me know!
Planning on making Eastbourne but don't know anything about it yet - any info?

The Friday night session at hove was well worth going to. Left my house at 6.00pm, arrived at 8.00pm, skated for 2+ hours and then 1.45 mins home. What a fantastic 3 s's, SUN, SEA AND SLALOM. A belated happy birthday to Smokestack and thank you for the invite to a drink. Have one or more on me! Can't make Hyde, other things to do sorry. One of the courses on Friday was 5ft straight, Boy did that get the juices flowing. I'm up for more of that.

I think Chris Charalambous and Jim Parry-Jones were heading for HP around 4 pm. I'll give it a miss, 3 days back to back slalom and i'm sitting here nursing a bruised side, and picking gravel out of my palms after a tumble at the NASS show near Bath.
Hove would be nice on a regular basis. Room for some dual.

Happy birfday Simone "Smokestack" Levene. Last seen last night entering a heavy metal nightclub. We had a great time on the Sea Front in the evening, 3 courses, a ton of skaters, and glorious sunshine. How about every 2 weeks from now till it gets too windy? I'm up for it.
