Gave HP a miss yesterday due to gardening taking priority (yawn). Guessed crowds would have been a prob. Edwin, you should keep the SC H-bomb as to quote Michael " it represents a moment in time -an era". I got rid of so much stuff over the years I could have started a museum! Like to take the opertunity to thank Michael for the trucks on Friday, they are polished and ready to be tried at HP this coming Thursday. Everyone ripped on Friday and it was a wonderfull evening. We were tired and headed home in order to make it before midnight. see you all on Thursday, the more the merrier. Maybe Paul P's idea of approaching Red Bull re:Skateboard Slalom might mean an inclusion next year or our own Skatetag!....just thinking aloud. Thanks for the fun and vibes good people

I should add that you did not make it clear that your brand name was the same as the Tv show, magazine and book.
It is one thing having a website domain name that is close to a brand name and an entirely different matter when the name is used on products that are in the same market sector as those already in existance. Concrete Wave is a skate related brand already.
Whats in a name? Er...everything!
Imagine how Thrasher, Sidewalk or Document might feel if you traded off their name?

Jansen, the name Concrete Wave has been used for quite a while in the UK for a TV skate show. Also the publisher of Concrete Wave magazine and author of Concrete Wave has his own forum on this very site. As the UK distributor of Concrete Wave we take a dim view of people that can't even make up their own names for their products. Don't tell me you didnt know of Concrete Wave before you set up your brand. It IS confusing to say the least and not exactly cricket trading off the hard won loyalty and enthusiasm of the Concrete Wave name.
I spoke to you at NASS and you said you would put up a link to CW out of courtesy. You neither conatacted CW nor ourselves so we are forced to protect the good name of Concrte Wave.
I suggest you get a dictionary and find a new, original name for your company.

Anyone else going? for skate or Flu tag?
At least if people knock over the cones we can throw them in the serpentine and claim they were part of the show.
Anyone up for skating Meanwhile 3 on Tuesday before going to pub-chlorine ?
mat (why are cones suicidal when im near them? Damm things always jumping in front of me)

Wow, what a turnout! Weather could have been warmer, but it meant there were less public around, making for four lanes of cones. Same deal in two weeks time? I hope so. Great to see so many boards around and locals getting in to it. Ed was blazing!

Just got in from Hove. What a great session, the crowd that turn up is getting bigger and bigger. Great to see everyone so soon after Eastbourne. I'm going to have to get a Pocket Pistol "Smokestack". Smokestacks board felt so comfy through that 4-4 1/2ft course. I just need to sneak it from him without him seeing. Anyway I'm going to bed now, so have a nice weekend all and see some of you at the "Chlorine " premiere. Edwin

Someone has made a suggestion that a regular sess on the first Sunday morning of the month would be an easier way of ensuring we get to meet up and have someone to skate with. What do you lot think? Regardless I'll be there this Sunday 9.30-10 ish.

MAt, 6.30, but some of us might be there earlier. Parking is very easy. Small Planet said the locals are up for it again. We had 3 courses up last time. Dual anyone? Tonight we ran dual at Hyde Park. Do not challenge Sam Gordon to a race with money involved.
