Thanks to Paul (and Sam) for the video. I watched it this morning before going to work. When you see yourself filmed you can see how and why you are much slower than the top dogs.
Following this inspiration I have set up the North Slalom winter training camp, ready for next year.
Cheers again LSDD (Leeds Skates do not dominate).

Hi, I've been skating street and ramp of 15 years and would like to do some downhill/longboarding. Can anyone recommend a good hardware shop in the london area and any gatherings I could tag on to? Cheers

Why aren't any of you guys buying Pig City boards? Only small ones left! Oh, I forgot. You're slalomers.

Paul K, Yes I'd love to see that footage, if no-one else has bagsied it.
Just in case concorde comes in from the West rather than over town this PM, you can make your own...

G7enn, Graham
the video footage that is zipping around is of the bude slalom as shown on gen:\\ex , it features Leon, Ed, michael to name a few.
i was fortunate enough to Tape it when it was on 2 weeks ago, Sam G got it copied 1/2 dozen times.
I have one copy left. but we can get a few more done, if Sam doesn't mind.
let me know if you want one

Media Tart Edwin! Of course he turned down the part for the BBC dockside sting.
BTW, I'm really hoping Concorde will be flying over central London today, Hyde Park is a great place to see it coming over London. There are 3 landings this afternoon. Fingers crossed. See you all this afternoon.

Glenn, I saw the same trailer last night and did a double take as I glimpsed a slalom skater of some substance powering through the cones. This was cut between shots of snowboarders, surfers and motocross bikes flying through the air. It lasted for a mere fraction of a second, but the style (and blue T-shirt) was unmistakeably Edwin. Is this where you guys are skating around 8pm? Michael's directions for this joint can be found by typing 'Queen's Arms'in the search engine for this forum and clicking on 'last six months.' Look it up and put it in your pocket now. I only say this because I've seen many a skater meandering wildly after dark and wondering on his/her location after a couple of visits.

I noticed the other night that the trailer for gen://ex seems to feature a shot of the Bude footage. I've seen it a few times but couldn't spot who the skater was.
