Michael, count me in for film. May even go back to 1978 and hit the south bank as well. Anyone else going?

Constitution Hill
On 11/4/2003 Michael wrote in from (195.92.nnn.nnn)

As the monarchy has about, oooooohhhh, a week left, (Have you heard the rumours too?) I reckon Constitution Hill which runs from Hyde Park Corner to the Mall could make a great run for boards. Then to the 'Peoples Palace for tea'.

Not before time too!

cyberslalom challenge
On 11/1/2003 Michael Dong wrote in from (81.131.nnn.nnn)

Cyberslalom is a spec flatland slalom course. See "cyberslalom challenge" under "Gatherings" in in the main NCDSA index. Here is shows the format and rules. Also see "Cyberslalom" under the "disciplines" like in the main NCDSA index.

Cyber is the best possible way to optimize your pump and develop greater overall pumping power.

pics and specs of epic
On 10/31/2003 Michael Dong wrote in from (213.121.nnn.nnn)

I've been in UK for a week now and will be here for two more. Although I didn't bring my skate stuff, I would really like to see the indoor slalom park (Epic?).

Is there a website that show pictures and specs of the slalom area (length, width, slope, surface)?

I would like this to present to any future indoor skatepark builders in my area in the NW of USA.

I haven't been on a board since Morro Bay but will begin skating again when I return to the USA in mid-November.

Again, anyone looking for huge gains in the offseason (Edwin?) might want to try cyberslalom training. I can't stress how helpful this was to me for making the jump from FCR open class to FCR pro class.

Cheers to all in UK,

Michael

I've now got a car and the wife is not making me go on holiday, I can be there.

I presume someone will have a pps smokestack to try out. After all the raging and as Leon has converted to one, I would like to try one out as a potential next years race model.

Do you guys normally stay over in Brum.

Cheers

Dave.

Deathbox Deathrace, Epic
On 10/31/2003 Michael wrote in from (195.92.nnn.nnn)

Date: Saturday 6th December, 7pm Epic skatepark.
1) Race over Epics ramps
2) Barrel jump
3) Slalom race 6.30pm

The Deathrace is over the ramps, similar route to last time, but using the new ramp positions. You'll need to be a reasonable ramp skater to do it. Deathbox prizes, and some others like Osiris shoes...more coming.

Barrel Jumping. This time we will get this going big time. 18ft or bust. Gravity prizes.

Slalom race. Single track, jam format. Not a UKSSA points race, just a bit of Fun. Bahne, 3dm prizes, for Ed. (er.... I mean top unsponsored rider)

More details early next week. Sign up is free, on the night, all you need to pay is normal park entry fee. Any ideas guys?
