Got home to Toronto in just over 3 hours last night - no traffic
Had a blast racing - everyone is getting faster, including the groms
Need to try to do this more often - the competition is great.
Many thanks for the hospitality and keeping me full of food and beer.

That was a fun race! Claude setup a super fast and fun dual TS, (with start ramps that was cool!) Everybody was faster than at our last race, the kids are really going to kick our butts soon.
Thank you Claude and family, MBL and all for taking the time to organize it, you did a great job as usual. Thanks CIV for letting me use your wheels to beat you!!
See you all at the next race, (That will probably be the day before Top Challenge)

Well TK, i'd loooove to go but again this year your race is the same date as Top Challenge (our speedboard race in Montreal) so i'm racing in my hometown. We will have a little slalom race on saturday (august 7) with all the speedboarders present in town, some of 'em must be riding cones too. I'm sure you guys will have an incredible weekend at the farm again this year!

Im staying at Canada Olympic Park at the Bob Nivin Training Center, Cop is a sick hill but you have to be tight with security, if the right guys on he'll give us rides up the hill. thats really the only spot i know. so if your in caly, wanna ride fast, maybe even a race or two for a few bucks, let me know.

I have not received my code from the webmaster to post the event on the contest calendar.
So if you are interested in coming please let us know until we can work on the numbers. We are checking Hotel lodgings and have a deal for two beds at $109.00 per room for 4 people. Travelodge, 1-800-578-7878, 1376 Crling ave. Ottawa
My ankle is not broken it's simply torn ligaments.
It is 5 minutes from the sk8park and 3 minutes from the race venue.

PS- you still have a choice of free accomodations as well.

This is to let you know that the contest will be posted for registration withim the next couple of days.
We will run a hybrid race with a straight line finnish. Not really fast nor really long. We plan on running it from 9am till 2 pm. In case it gets just as hot as it has been the last couple of years. If anyone wants to we can go to another location later and run some single lane stuff. At this point I still don't know the extent of my ankle injury so I may not be participating but the racing will go on.
The event will be Sponsored by the Ottawa Sk8park - Sk8city and the Dovercourt Community Centre. We have also been invited to sleep at the community centre overnight in lieu of the Sk8park. They have showers and even a swimming pool we may have access too.
We will list some hotels nearby as well for any of you that would prefer that.
We need a timming system. Anyone wishing to send prizes please contact us at 613-798-7275.

Civ has taught me all I know about "Being Gay"
I have rumors about all the "cross-dressing" outfits he bought in Europe
I think the reason he missed Silverstone was he was having a little "nip & tuck" surgery while in Germany. LOL
Joe I just booked your acomodations here in Toronto for the "Pride" parade.
All the best,

Just 1% of Canadians say they're homosexual
By CAROLINE ALPHONSO With a report from Canadian Press Wednesday, June 16, 2004 - Page A1 So out of the one hundred Canadian Slalom Skateboarders, one is gay. Hmmmm, I wonder who it is?
My first thought is that Sydia and Civ alternate days (not that there is anything wrong with that).
"We slalom, we're here, get used to it!"
Peace,

Any of you fellow Canucks out there know of a Canadian source for uncut blanks in low quantities ? Looking for something that I can cut to min. 9" wide, 32" long , double kick. The places I have contacted so far want a minimum of at least 15 to 20 boards (in some cases 100).
Thanks !
