Claude, things are not looking to good for Shasta and I. We had an offer for a ride but we get in at 7:30 and that is too late for our ride. Apparently its too late for buses too. I dont really know what we are going to do. If Rob comes maybe we cant rent a car. I hope we can figure something out. We do you guys leave?

All 3 Civ. You don't want to run out of Ammo.

I know I'm bringing my 36 Kebbek Slalom and my bonita for the SGS like course.

I should also have a set of Radiakls by then as well.

Mike check into the bus or train. I checked last year. I could pick you up in SLO it's only a 15 to 20 minute drive from Morro and would be much easier.

Do you want us to get a bigger vehicle so we can get to the Downhill and Cyber Slalom on Friday as well as LAX on Monday? We are going to have a lot of gear between us. If Rob joins us it's a smaller split and we will have the space. There are some specials available and we want to book it soon cause we are there a week from tomorow.

Start thinking about working in Ottawa for the summer of 2005.

as of now we dont know for sure about rob and I also am not sure how wea re getting to morro bay. On the other hand i have made some real steps toward getting my setup dialed, was running straight 6 foot centres fast and clean yesterday and I have also been running all sorts of different hybrid type courses. I still need to work on the super g though. Should i bring my 36 or 32? or all 3 pistols?

I'll be there to defend my title!!

Again Claude good luck at the Worlds, last time i saw you run cones, you were in an amazing form, you'll do good.

BTW, Francis of Top Challenge is working on a big slalom race next year in august in Montreal, a big 4 lanes hill downtown, awesome for a dual GS an a 4 men hybrid!!

On 9/21/2004 Pierre wrote in from Canada  (66.130.nnn.nnn)

Hey MB, i got my pads! nice repair job, they are new again.
I took more time to get to my place cause some numbers were mixed in my address and postal code
but i got them just in time so thanks a lot.

BTW, i will cancel the slalom demo for thursday, the space they give us (8 by 150 feet) is too small for something fun. So thanks anyway i know you would have come to do a great demo but it's just not worth it.

Take care!

What an awesome day. No better way to spend your 42nd birthday than rippin some long hills with some great people. Thanks to Mike and Nikki (?) for the drinks and dogs! Thanks to Rob for the cones and the use of his boards(Tom and Keith too for letting me try some of their boards). Thanks to all those that helped organize the event and most of all thanks to the Drivers! Walking those hills will a luge and leathers would have been a bitch.

No one got arrested even if some tried. Luckily the lady cop was into weeds and Tahoe longboards. I am certain someone has some pics :-)

Valley was a blast! Way to go Scott - GPS clocked him at about 84 kph on his luge. What a run. Definitely have to give that one another go. The speedboarders were rippin it up too! I'll have to give it kick standup next time.

How did things go over at Syd after I left? I am sure that the speeds just climbed higher.

Cheers,

Paul

pierre's pads
On 9/18/2004 Cknuck wrote in from Canada  (64.230.nnn.nnn)

Yep! Pierre they were sent to your home address. You should receive them by Tuesday at the latest I would think.

I got myself a set of used leathers today. If I lose a couple of inches of my upper body they will fit. I knew all those handstands would haunt me someday.

Good luck in Albequerque all of you. Have a good safe trip you deserve a break.

I'm so excited about going to California... by the time it rolls around, I'm sure I will definately need the break from school. Pierre, it's too bad you can't get away... you are an amazing person to hang out with, but it would be very cool if Jim and JF came along. I'll be happy to just see the sun, but I'm not complaining about watching Mike race ;)
Claude & MB - hope things are going well with you, and school has given you guys the opportunity to relax a bit after the busy summer full of camps!
Rob - are you going to come on the same flight with us?
Anyway... the days are drawing near for when we plan to leave... hopefully no injuries prevent any racers from competing. Until then, take care all :)
