Ontario races, the far east too
On 11/16/2004 skinner wrote in from Canada  (64.56.nnn.nnn)

Are there any big downhill races in ontario or the far east? I mean there is the attack of bear bay the sully challenge, are there any races in alberta? sask? manitoba? ontario? quebeck has the top challenge, what about even further east? is longboarding a western canadian thing? Wondering if you guys know of any big races like 20 plus riders with prize money that happen regularly.

Hey Claude & MB,
happy anniversary! I hope that you guys have a quick and easy move into your new place. I'm excited to see it. It's too bad school takes up so much time and doesn't make it as easy to take off and travel as much as we could. Ah well - midterms are over!
Say hello to everyone!
Have a wonderful Hallowe`en!
Take care,
Shaz
PS How did Dan and Gabe like their skateboards?

On 10/28/2004 mbl wrote in from Canada  (64.230.nnn.nnn)

hey guys - today is the first anniversary of the gathering in Ottawa and we couldn't host an event cuz we're moving! For us it's the anniversary of when we found the original OSP but the guys moving ramps and stuff w/ Claude tonight r all doing slalom too!
We all want skateboarding to be alive & well in Canada and to work together to keep it alive. Apparently someone from Montreal came to the Worlds (in Morro Bay) to 'visit' the event or witness and learn from a world-class race. That's what I was doing there there too but only found out about the other person after the fact. Let's all work together.

Plan to attend the East-ern Canada Opening week-end for Slalom in Canada, Easter week-end in the spring and the July 1st Can-Am series being planned. We would be pleased to help with the Top Challenge Slalom Event. Let us know how we can help

This is the raddest place to run cones in Montréal. Even Pierre says so. Yesterday's session was epic, bright leaves, blue sky. Pierre an JF were even brave enough to drink a beer at my local pub in Ville Emard.

Thanks for the skate-day boys. Now... concrete wave t-shirts. Hmmmm.
