There is a great crew of longboarders and downhillers in Toronto and the GTA as well as a couple of us that are into slalom and street luging. So it is all here.
Please fee free to send me an e-mail and I will get you into the loop.
All the best,

Grew quite an appetite for the downhill during the long period of time that i spent in Vancouver. Great scene, would like to find some fellow boarders in Toronto. Garages are probably best till spring so someone bring me upto SPEED.

Hi Brad!
We will be hosting the 2nd Annual dovercourt Open on July 1st and 2nd in Ottawa. There is a small chance it will be a combined event with Washington, D.C. on the 3rd and 4th but no comments yet.
We will also be doing some park Slalom in our new location of The Ottawa Sk8park at 515 Industrial Ave. in Ottawa.
I hope your training is going well. Let me know what races you plan on attending?
We are hosting a Big Bike comp this weekend. It's getting pretty harry in the park right about now as many of the out of towners beging to arrive. Next weekend is the fundraiser for Asian relief.
There will be a couple of park comp coming up as well a some Park Slalom.

Looking to find some old school skaters in the Cambridge (Ont.) and surrounding areas. I would like to get a group going in this area - skating, snowboarding, and of course a few beers talking about the good old days and what we used to be able to do ! My new 5 ft. mini will be ready in the spring for sessions. Drop me a line.
Later,

The Canadian crew was hardcore. All chargers. Stewart has a race head for sure and beat a bunch of hot skates in both his top 10 placings. Claude thanks for supporting racing and spreading the stoke! See you soon, TK

Derek, Thanks a lot for organising the event. Your words to Jasond really made his day after having busted out of the course. He just wouldn't go any slower.
He will be ready for future races now that this one is under his belt. I'm glad i payed Stewart's entry fee despite him saying he didn't think he was doing it. He is a great young up and comer.
We will be sure to let you know about our contests.
To the guys at Kebbek I'm sorry I couldn't take the time to stop by and pick up some prizes for the comp. I know the quality of your work and the eventual recipients would have enjoyed them as well.

From all of us here at Rye, thanks so much to all Canadians who made the trip this past weekend. You guys are nothing but smiles, good times, and amazing skating. Jay Regnier definitely had the fastest initial part of the course, but came in so hot on the back wall he just exploded. If he had been on some different wheels he would have won the whole damn thing. Stewart Passmore you rip man. Chris and Alex were destroying the course all night. Briana is going to crush us all next time. She was killing the miniramp. We look forward to seeing you all again soon, perhaps if some of you come down in May for the mini ramp contest we can host a small slalom race too. Park or regular. Let us know when your local parkslalom is, I'm there. Any excuse to get to Canada I'll take.
