Rob, what's up, bout to head that way for a couple weeks, am going to try to dedicate it all to snow shreddin, how's it lookin out there? are there fluffy white lines to be had? Hit me up with another e-mail or call about that business, i'll be somewhere rad next summer, probably LA, so that means lots of races. I'm glad to see the CO scene blow up so huge!!! I'm more glad that you're here to enjoy it, rob.

Hey Rob - I always enjoy reading your posts on here. Saw you mentioned me in the last post and figured it was only polite to drop you a line and see how everything's going. Sounds like the 'RADo is starting to get snowed on. We've had a pretty mild winter so far here in Vancouver: a bit of rain, no snow and some sunny days here and there. Been trying to get out and slash the local hills as often as I can, school has been taking up most of my time unfortunately. Hope all is well, let's skate soon EH! Take it e z BP

So I had to come to this coffee house to go on line and this sux! It's like Friends in here and eeeerbody is hanging out on couches talking about stupid, stupid things. I'm sure there's some sorta coffee shop etiquitte were I shouldn't be sitting in this high chair so I can check out this chick. I was sitting here to get a better view but not of her screen. I had it to good for too long poaching the net off my old nieghbors but somebody died and they moved and took my intraweb. This place somehow reminds me of those very bad nights of doing bad things to my brain with bad substances. I would never go back to those days and I'm glad I survived. This coffee shop has that been up for days talking to people you don't know about things you know nothing about...feeling. I to have a cool looking computer so maybe they will accept me into there sad caffiene culture, the band Morphine is starting to sound better and better. Yeh so I just came here to update this page and show off my new laptop. Street Swell longboards kicked this computer my way and I can't say thanx enough for this thing. I shoulda turned down they volume before i started watching porn.
Ian, I will get in touch with the guys at the Migration Longboard factory and find out about the deck, the blow up doll isn't smiling anymore.
Beaver Creek and Vail are open for snow sliding and it's time to switch boards, if ya'll wanna come check out the snow. I will also be heading to Grand Junction maybe this week if any Rado kids wanna go.
Dubes #1 Qualifier at Bonelli and Zak winning it was way RAD! I've never been to an event that had so many Colorado riders, then add they're performance, it's bout time.
I was really luck to skate so many hills this year and witness some amazing skaters bomb big s#@!. The days in Malibu with Krimes, Mercado, Peck, Kelly, Louis P, and a few others who owned that road was just bitchn to watch. Thanx to all yeh Cali kids for directions and beers and wheels and smiles.
I've now kicked out my wheel on the start. I didn't walk the hill like I should (usually with Paul Busse or Rick) have to find the finish for my quali run. You can't take this sport lightly for a moment cause all these new kids are serious. I was just hanging out for this one and it cost me by eating s#@! and taking out Raggie.
Enjoy the turkey and your friends and family. Stay healthy and raise a glass for the ones who aren't at the table this year. miss my sk8 friends, see you for leftovers.

I'm out the door a t a bro's house to go ride. I havn't seen a computer in days and that is good. I'm sorry I can't recap in this short time but Cali was rad and Rado represented. Way to go Co riders! I'm mean way cool to be part of the Rado scene, we have not only a scene now but one of and some of the best riders in the World. Danny thank you for the wheels and you saved me I've been unemployed for weeks and can't race with 3. Come to find out I should learn how to kick my old wheels before riding freshies. I'm very sorry I took out Raggie. I've never kicked out my wheels on the start and won't forget hearing somebody shout "what are you doin Rob" as I ate the pavement. I gotta go shred and sorry Raggie. Great too see eeerbody and reallly mean it. BTK thanx for the loan on the World's Greatest Burger. At least we got our poor performance outta the way. Lot's I would like to talk about but peeps are waiting. thanx for all the help getting round the fires. Rick see ya soon. DT got me to GMR. Louis thanx. gotta go horns honking Huey on the buttboard! Flindt your really fast. stop hoinkig i'm out!!1 miss ya'll

Good on ya, Rob, for hooking that kid up. "You can't live a perfect day without doing something for someone who will never be able to repay you." I'm told the legendary UCLA basketball coach John Wooden said that.
I don't know you, just met you once (briefly) at the Vail Pass race in 2005. I always enjoy reading your posts. Sounds like you definitely live your life to the fullest. Keep it up!

Lovely post indeed, the one about the airport. The very nicest thing about abundance is the ability to hook another up. You'd be a glorious rich man. Skate on, and may heaven hold you in her hand while you do. Warmest wishes from VAB.

Karma the Marines and New Mexico

New Mexico was a blast and we forgot to ride the ditches. The head winds were as big as the headaches from the night before. Will's Halloween/Birthday party was bigger than last year and the Haunted House was a scream. Live music a keg and a sleddding hill, thanx for having me again Will.
Skating around the hills of Santa Fe and Los Alamos with Price, Brunson, Lehm and Chris Miller was a hoot. Thank you for showing me the "backyard" and some really fun fast hills. Los Alamos was rad, and surreal with the check points and scorched hillsides, oh and that slippery top surface!!! Bombing the hi-way in broad daylight in full view of the man was too fun, especially pulling into the gas station faster than a car. I still remember the look on peoples faces at the pump when Will came screaming in. Thank you again for the tour, times, stories and gear from Timeship.
Koma Kino, We watched the Caveman Perygudes vid you made and it isn't the same without Odix running thru the crowd with only a coconut. What will you do next???
I landed in Denver and made my way to the baggage claim where United said to pick up my gear and of course it's not there. I stood in line at the baggage service counter to find out what was goin on and the guy working for United snapped at me and this kid behind me for something the dude in position 4 had said. Dude at United was a jerk and mis-informed me twice, ya I was pissed. The kid behind me in line was holding a Sector Nine so I made a quick scan of his gear and noticed he had only 3 wheels. "Dude you can't ride a 3 wheeled skateboard." He looked about 12 and told me this was his fast board. He had his fourth wheel but needed a bearing. I told the little dude as soon as I find my gear I would hook him up with a bearing. When I found my bag the kid let me know his mom didn't want anyone messing with his board. "Tell ya what lil dude, I'll talk to your mom after I give you this bearing." His family was there with his brother who had just graduated from boot camp in the Marines. While they were bonding I opened up my case, pulled all my gear and found him a bearing. When I went to pull his old bearing the race was seized in the hub with some melting of the core. So now he really needs a new wheel. I was going to yank my old wheels and just hand them to the kid but I had no tool and after all the crap that United gave me I needed to do something nice or just make me smile. I handed the kid a new set of those yellow Sector Nine race wheels with a new set of bearings, his mom couldn't say no. His older brother was a kid to me but was in his dress uniform and called me sir. It felt really good to help him and maybe distract them for a second while showing him how to set up a board the right way. I'm telling this story not to bring light to how nice I can be but how nice so many people have been to me. I gave because I have been given more than a set of wheels over the years and have had the unique relationship with so many great people and companies over the years. Sector Nine has hooked me for years and I can't thank them enough. Abec 11 has stoked me, thanx Chris. Dan at Seismic has been there for me also. Street Swell has helped me travel and also flowed product that can never be replaced. Landyatchz...(even though I might not spell it right) Landy has been there since Tom and battled in the EDI days. Infamous Bomb Squad and Andreas of Sweden got me thru Europe 2 years in a row on his dime. Street Missile was my first pro model and Freddie and his family made me feel like family. Subsonic for fixing my boards while in Portland, thanx Scott. All the couches and floors I slept on and the people who fed me. The race organizers who bought me a beer and then later had to hear me scrutinize there rules, EDI, IGSA, GSI, and all the lil ones I forgot. The shops that hooked me with my entry fee, All Board Sports, The Board Room, Obsession of Montreal. Thank you Ian at Kebbek for making boards I still love to ride. Kelcey at NJK is the BEST!!! (no question) Coastlongboarding.com and NCDSA.com for spreading the stoke like a disease because of a love of riding and making sure we are safe. Coast has done more for my attitude towards riding than can be said, "Push for the Cure". Paris Trucks hooked me and for that Joey I'm grateful. Bola at ABS, thank you. Joe Lehm at Timeship has never blinked when I said I needed a new pair of gloves. I don't know how to close this because I've forgotten so many...the rides, the beers, safety meetings, floor space, Bob Swartz, Cavey, McBride, Marc Dean, so many people in Portland, Vancouver, Vail, DCDC yeh Smallwood, Dupin, Skip, my European family, KLUdy, da Rogers bros and family, the boys at work, My family and friends who have bought plane tickets and got to the plane on time. I'm sorry to leave anyone out, Again I've can't thank everybody cause...there's too many people who got me home. Miss ya'll, Sreading the Stoke isn't a tag line for a website
