Happy Birthday Koma Kino! Thanx for everything last year in France. My favourite Frenchman to fry with.
The American Dream's Birthday is today also. Is it time to start shaving?
Congrats to Fast Freddie and Lou who just had there second boy Laurik!! Can't wait to see you guys this summer in Munnsville. Sux big slimeballz not to be making it to DC's or Maryhill this month. And one thing I will miss is a session on Tabor. That is a great place to ride when we all get together in Portland and guess I will be there in the late summer? Things at the glue factory are pretty slow so it has been harrd to cover shifts. Liam you gotta let me win just once! I don't think you will get the chance to beat me in Europe this summer. money sux now. Gotta run. A certain French Canadian has invaded Rado and will shredding Vail w/ me Thursday and Friday. Get here Friday night for Swiss Bob runs and Saturday we head to Junction for hill recon with the Estes Crew.

Too bad you can't make Rob, that hill doesn't seem steep enough for Minis but I guess so, the only problem is trying to fit that with 4 guys and all their stuff. I don't think we'll be able to bring any.
Did you see this old school race video? Just had it the other weekend at Mt. Tabor. It's part of a downhill series in Portland, PDX Downhill. Click here for link Casey Morrow filmed and edited it.

For too many responsible reasons I can't make it to your race DC and it sux! I hate this feeling of not being able to make it just to pound Buds with you. Ya'll have fun and which hill did you decide on? I've heard the gnarly one has dragons and pits of despair and a corner with only room for one skater? Have fun and I was just telling the story of Ghost Riding the Whip and Jon Huey's dancing. I road with my gps (snowboard) on Columbine and Ledges on the frontside of Vail for those of you following along at home. Ok so off Chair #2 same runs we do on the Bob. I hit 55mph on the Bob @ night groomed. My groomed early morning speeds on the board were only 52mph. I thought it was pretty cool to find that the lil plastic Bob was that fast and my board was that slow. The stuffs melting up here fast so make your plans to shred before it's all gone.
I road Battle Mountain Pass the other day and it was kinda scary. Lots of sand in the road and Mag chloride slicks in the turns with tailwinds. I did one run and bugged out. There were snow removal trucks and run off so things in the high country need some time. The Front Range seems to be hitting? How are things goin with the race on Lookout?
Happy Birthday Danny!

So you know Zoo Bomb, from Maryhill of course. Well they recently had their Mini-Bike Winter event in Portland, full of mini bike events and chariot wars. The crazyiest s#@! ever. People just pounding on each other on bikes chariots. Anyway, here are some of the photos from the event. This first is Billy the Kid doing some mini bike races.

Really rad for Zak (RADO) and the podium being Mischo (he doesn't even know where he's from) and Dubes (who might be from Florida but we claim him here in Colorado). The only races in the World are the Cali Series right now and what started as a small grassroots loosely organized series is bringing the best. I haven't been keeping track but I think Mercado has the only Cali local win this year??? Way to go Muffins! I'm sorry I won't be able to make your race DC and just don't want to miss the jam session in your living room or cooking for eeerbody or hanging in your front yard looking back at your nieghbors or getting to the podium with Portland and Santa Fe. Your race last year and my trip to Ridgecrest was unforgettable. You had the Cali win last year at Barrett and think you need to pull one out for the home town crowd. Danny can I get your mailing address I need to send your B Day present and how old will the future of speedboarding be this year????

It's a Never Summer SL 168 I've found this board to be my weapon of choice. It has deep sidecut and just means it gets from edge to edge quicker so it's more responsive for a longboard. Yeah it's a longboard so it can haul ass and remain stable but turn quick. You can beat the crap outta the thing too. That one was new last year and as you can tell has seen a couple rocks. Don't worry about the core shots and just sand the rust off the edges before you go. I've had lots of miles on that one and shes gotta lots left. Get some medium bindings and have fun. That's the only kind of board I didn't see in your garage.

Don't Panic!
The original photo hangs in Kludyville. This is a photo of a photo and doesn't show the American flag at the top of the surfboard in the background. This copy doesn't show the bikers in the foregound pumping thier fists in the air. This is skateboarding history and needs to be seen. I hope you don't mind me putting this up Rick. peace

Zak I have to let you know sometime who first said that and that's some funny s#@! right there!! I would really like to get out to Lookout and rally the hill with you guys. There's quite a few van loads of racers on the way to your hill in May. So glad to see you guys putting on an event in Colorado and thanks for all the hard work. The Ditch Slap week and the Wild Bills back to back is a perfect way to show off some of the goods here and look forward to skating big mountains with packs of riders from all over the GLOOOOBE!
Only 2 runs on the Bobs, one Friday and one Saturday. We got some heat Friday and had to toss the Bobs outta the gondala window and then retrieve them for our descent. Saturday we brought up the Bobs under our jackets while shredding and returned later that evening to take a run. Saturday we bombed the hill in close proximity and led Will over a roller @ 40mph as we caught air simultaneously. Sick runs but no gps. You know when your flying on a piece of plastic through the air 25ft your going fast.
