When did you earn a felony rap? I thought the late, great D.B. got u straight in VAB? Or was it a CO thing? Anyway, it's cool ur getting around, getting some hill action, and makin' frinds and influencing folk like u do :) 2009 is gonna' be a good one. I feel it. All the best to you, Mate. All the time :) K

Hey Rob, Couple things:
First of all, come skate tomorrow. Lookout, 10:00 then on to a faster hill...
Second, I hear you are partially responsible for "MiniBike". I must thank you for going so easy on me. It could be a lot worse.

Hey Rob, More buttboard airs to come. They are quite a rush. Only done a couple so far. The snow looks nice in CO. But, back when we were in LA, here's a memorable shot of you and Billy at the heights of hell!

Rob , it took me all week to get back into Dad Mode bro. Breanne is still talking about that meal you made for us. Your left over are way better than my best meal. With age does come a killer laid back the night before race day. I only fell one time a cracked a Rib, maybe two but no worries I have done that before. Still cant get over how fast them kids where and playing with me like they where. God I would love to have the picture just before they took me into the 2 hard right and yes they took me and thats my hill. Mass talent in todays speed boarding. I miss you already Rob. Tryed hard to show you my life today in just a few hours bro. Boy I am paying for in now, ha !

what up rob! thanks for the birthday card and the $$munay$$. i'll try not to spend it all in one place (and i'll try not to get creeped out by the card...). it's been snowing an unusual amount here and it's starting to get annoying. i'm sure you've gotten used to it but it's a little much for me. here is a little video huey and i threw together during out last dry spell in portland. sounds like you had fun in california. i'm glad you didn't kick your wheel this time. take care and stay warm!

Yo Rick, I shot one to kludycrew@cox.net so let me know if you got it or Justin might be around??? I get in SD at 10:30 and if it's too late or something comes up gimme a ring @ 970 445 8980.
Also Rick it was nice to talk to you after your weekend snowboarding and surfing in the same day. Always a great feeling to "squeeze the day" atsavināšanas diem! Try and squeeze a few adventurous activities into one day, so when the kid on the plane is kicking your seat or the guy with sniffles sneezes without covering. You have done something that no one else can understand or why you just let stuff slide. I just got done snowboarding and will now pack for today's next adventure. I know many of us traveling this weekend will be able atsavināšanas diem. Some GMR, Malibu, the Ocean, ASR bikinis, and whatever the day brings keep smiling. For me GMR, Lookout and Vail Pass in one day last year. Though today started with a smile and who knows there's still 13 more hours...wait I'm gaining an hour on this trip so there's more time to "squeeze the day".
Lookout is gonna be sick Nick and you best lay low on that ankle. call me when you put you boots on.
I've been thinking about last years January Cali trip and the journey with JP, Tyler and Josh. So take it easy boys and hope to see ya on the hill. Ok gotta hit send and get out the door.
peace

Today is a watermark on our lives that will never be forgotten. Wether or not you supported the man or have feelings of apprehension, you have to feel that we are all part of a momentous time. I'm not one to get political and could care a lil bit about your political views and this isn't the place, or is it? I can't think of many things that have made me more happy than travelling and skating around the World meeting so many wonderful people. I've been beaten up yelled at and looked at funny while on the road because I'm an obvious American. I don't know, not all Americans are loud whiskey drinking wreckless former male models but people find me an easy read and don't think I'm from Japan. I think our country whether or not you like Obama has let the rest of the World know the United States can be the model once again of opportunity and hope. America is built by so many types of people from so many avenues on Earth that you might not be able to recognize who might be from the US. This new time for our Country will be exciting not only for the US but the rest of the World. I hope now only to get ridiculed for crashing in the first turn or taking myself out at the starting line but not because of what man, who never earned the support of his people has done to take away the pride of being an American. Who knows this guy could be just another puppet or corporate schill that has to bend over for money, but for a moment, today feels better than yesterday and tomorrow isn't feared. As a convicted felon I was not allowed to vote which is well... good and bad. Sux to have to tell people the story of when I was a stupid kid and how I couldn't vote at this time in history. But if he screws up:) I didn't vote for the guy!
Barret is the first race of the year and I'm so stoked to be on my way! Barret holds heaps memories for so many of us. I remember my first trips down back in the EDI days of trying to get out of the Amateur ranks. I have vivid memories racing many of you in close battles to the line. Getting caught in the tracks. Getting to close and sliding into the dirt in Docs (much respect). Heading to Tecate with a bunch of riders for taco's. The time Edstrand tried to squeeze in on me at the finish. He put his hand on me to let me know he was coming thru and I pushed off his hand to take the win. Tom as you know went on to become not only a World Champion but owner of one of the most significant board companies out there. I'm sure he's over that incident. Waterhouse's stories and all the familiar faces that make Barret special. See you there. The world is changing and it's happening live on the tube, go watch. peace

Rick, I shared some of our stories last night with a new old friend. You have been there for me not only on the hill but in your home. I've sat by that pool and shared things with ya that made me a better person for knowing I'm not alone. You are Captain America and an inspiration to so many people. I've crashed into you, shared many beers, you've picked me up and we've sat around many campfires after we put all the young bucks to bed. Thank you. I wouldn't miss this chance to see you and sit by that pool under the lemon tree one more time.
As far as snowboarding...feet shoulder width and everything else stays in line. Elbows, knees, hips, shoulders all lined up with those boots. Head up and never reach for the snow. You look down you fall down. A smile will make you relax and that shows. You can't ride stiff, bend your knees but don't stick your ass out. HA HA! Captain America could ride a car hood down a river of toxic waste with a rescued baby under his arm without messing up a hair on his head. I've met only a couple heroes and your high on a short list.
LOOKOUT!!!!! WHA?! This has to soak in....Uh like that's really cool. Who what when where, lower half it Looks like no wait that could be the top....!!! DETAILS!!! I want to sponsor this event! I will be there to help and just let me know how.
LOOKOUT!! NO WAY!!!! Colorado in the Spring. My house is your house. Let's keep any freeriding ideas on the DL for a bit so we can plan the attack! WOW goin riding. See you on top.
