Nez, I was reciently on a motorcycle shop that was race-oriented and they had killer pucks with leather & velcro tabs attached for the drag areas of your leathers when you lean over your bike. I don't know how good the plastic was on them but they looked like they would be easy to build a set of gloves with. Just an idea.
This is the stuff you want: http://www.mcmaster.com/param/asp/psearch.asp?FAM=plastics&FT_138=117610&FT_101=2680&FT_1206=52687&session=plastics;138=117610;101=2680;1206=52687

Nez, McMaster Carr has the best selection, get the ultra-high density stuff it lasts a long time. Someone on the board may have more details & specs.

Thanks Cliff,
I will check the interest here. Hamburg has a lack of longboarders and especially sliders. But in two weeks we will have the killhill race and hopefully I can gain interest when showing up with my slideboard. Until then I will practice to be more a slider than a monkey.
Best regards

Derik,
I travel when the money from Slide School/Festival Event entrants cover the flight costs. If you have enough interest to cover these said costs, then I would be more than happy to make an appearance in Germany. I visited there in 2,000 and had a great time!

Hello Danny,
Thanks for passing along the hello from your dad. I'm sorry about your ankle. I saw Noah Sakamoto last night. Sector should send him to race some downhill. He is fit and ready. Please tell Budro thanks for the wheels! Remember, you should make a trip to Berkeley to skate the hills here. Maybe a Sector road trip?
Stay in touch, Cliff Coleman

good for you making that point about sergio's lack of a sig deck cliff...he's brought SO much attention and traffic to gravity and anyone who'd try to argue that is a fool...

Sergio deserve a deck for the accomplishment on getting poeple to slide proudly in this skateboarder world, just like Cliff.
Living, filming or spreading the stoke for the skate scene deserve a salary or royality.
I skate because of them, not because of these guys, even if i respect their accomplishments.
Point!

Michael Bream Correct this mistake.

For those who wish to know, I did post the comment regarding Sergio on the Silverfish site. Here are some comments from me about this. I have the highest respect for Bruce Logan's history first. I was skating back in steel wjheel days as was Bruce. I was skating when he was the absolute best on the planet. This was in about 63/64. He and I are not in Sergio's league at this time and date. That is all and is why I can't understand the thought process that doesn't allow Sergio a Signature deck while Bruce and others have them at the Gravity Company.
Here is what I wrote and what I stand by. Sometimes the sponsors have to be held to a standard of common sense along with the rest of us. This goes for all sponsors. Take care of your team riders like they deserve!
Michael Bream, Correct this mistake.
----------------------------------------- --------------------------------------- Cliff Coleman here. I tried to post this on the Gravity site but for some reason they didn't return my request via e-mail for a password to get on their forum.
I believe that Gravity/Michael Bream has made a huge mistake by not producing a Sergio Yuppie signature model skateboard deck. How many of you would like to see a Sergio signature deck?
Gravity has many signature decks. They have one for Buttons, Ed Economy, Ben W., Bertleman and even a Logan model. In my opinion, none of these riders, great as they may be, or may once have been, can measure up to Sergio! Sergio has been on the Gravity Team for years and still doesn't have a model? He brings tremendous attention to Gravity. Flow was voted one of the 25 best Surf/Skate videos of all time. This is because of Sergio. None of the other videos that Gravity has put out without Sergio, have done anywhere near as well! When I look at the signature decks that are mentioned above, I know that most of these riders hardly skate anymore. Why do they have decks if Sergio doesn't?
Now for an open question to you Michael Bream. Can you correct this mistake? Here is a quote from you about mistakes: "I'll judge you on how you correct your mistakes, that is the true judge of character.... because everyone makes mistakes...."
Michael please give Sergio a signature model deck. It only took Pocket Pistols one month to produce my signature model. So please, no excuses about how it takes a lot of time to produce a signature model deck.
Sincerely, Cliff Coleman
