Jet up north on Temple. I think it turns into Signal Hill up there. All the way up and you'll see sunrise park on your left. Take a few minutes and check out the scenery. You can see from Huntington Beach, all the way to the Long Beach Ports. Start there and cruise it down. Enjoy

Rats, seems the crew at longboardmaps have lone since stopped admin-ing it, but are on to bigger things, liked stokedmentoring.org I wish Jeff all the best. Combining a love for skating AND passing on the stoke.
Too cool..

Felix, ever been a bit South? Try the Snake Canyon run outa Lewistown sometime! It cost me a full set of Kryptonics 70mm Blues back in '78, as I slid damn near every corner for 8 miles. Couldn't run it in '80, as St. helens blew, killed my bearings (Sims Golds, Auugghh!), and left the hills there coated in ash and pumice. '94 was better, got in some good runs out at Lake Wallowa, and up by Spokane, and north in Stevens and Chewelah. Left 4 sets of old Kryps melted by the time my 2 week honeymoon was over (well, running down roads near Adams and Hood did in a few wheels). I do love the roads in Washington and Oregon though! It's not about how Fast you go, it's about how well you can Go Fast!

There are too few references to the Wenatchee Valley here or elsewhere. The s#@! is savage out here. Leavenworth: 1.Ski Hill - Straight Steep 3/4mile long Decent Pavement 2.Ranger Road, Short and extremely steep, first left after getting on Ski Hill blacktop 3.Titus Road - Oposite side of ski hill, long fast, bad pave 4.Dempsey Road - East Leavenworth Rd, At the End of the Straight Stretch, Outragously steap, just under a mile of all down hill madness, BE CAREFUL! Cashmere/Monitor: 1.Easy Street, 2 parts, nice pave, mellow steep and long 2.Dead Mans Hill, .5 mile long, bad pave insane grade Wenatchee: 1.Skyline, 1mile + very steep good pave, very badass run If you ride in the Wenatchee Valley, HIT ME UP!!!! Too many people with boards and no balls.

Just wondering if anyone has ridden Rt. 49, West of Yosemite, between Rt. 120 and 140. Just drove it the other weekend, smooth pavement, unbelievable scenery, very few cars.... ultra remote. Looks like it would be awesome.
I would love to see a video of the ride if anyone has one.
Thanks.

Any good runs to speedboard or luge in the Bay Area that are pretty empty (low car traffic, REAL low)...
I am looking for a nice long run to tweak my luge on when I get around to building it but my dad wouldnt feel safe with even one car...
Perhaps a road thats only used during the week or something... Hopefully something long and not to technical, just a fast run with a few sweepers to tweak the setup...
Bay Area California please, im located in Los Gatos near San Jose.

hey Dave, I was checking out "world skate map" and some stuff in your area came up. It would be a bit of a treck for me to get out there all the way from pasadena but you should check out a few of these spots

If they seem worth the trip definitely let me know and maybe we could meet up and bomb hills one day before the summer is over!
