They manufacture there own boards call UA Urban Asphalt. What a cool and wicked board. They carry 7.75 with the most pop and concave. You'll love these boards a must have if you enjoy skating!!!!

we saw a lot of interest in our resurrection of the joyride brand when we released the joyride limited edition skateboard deck in early 2008. we have a couple of other ideas for creating a new brand and based on the feedback we get from you guys we will introduce this new brand based on your votes and deck designs.

Just some up to date info., Khiro has had a lot of request to produce a
(10x10mm) Spacer, so that is just what we did. Khiro now has a full line

I wanted to get my boys into skating and racing. The guys at Tactis Sk8 shop really helped me out. They have some pretty cool new boards and were very helpful making sure I spent my money the right way. I would totally recommend them and let everyone know they are beginner and kid friendly and will spend a lot of time working through exactly what you'd expect and need.

Central Coast Surfboards in San Luis Obispo, CA has a wide selection there. I bought my new board there. It was a Sector 9 "off the wall" board. Anyway the guys there are nice and pretty cool. Bottom line they're really cool there and would go to far extents to get you what you want.

A few weeks ago,not finding the board my son wanted on-island(oahu) I checked out the Purple Skunk. Lizzie and the gang took good care of me. The Loaded longboard made it to Hawaii very fast, the price was good , and now I'm looking good after xmas. My boy loves his new loaded board!!! Thanks Lizzie

So, I was in SF last week and I wanted to check out Skates on Haight. I went in expecting to buy a deck and they were so busy with their computers, they couldn't even acknowledge I was there. The woman finally talked with me for a minute. I asked the guy there about a deck on the wall, and rather than getting it down so I could check it out, maybe even treat me like a human, he (without even looking up) looks the deck up on his computer and gives me the dimensions.
We finally left without buying anything at all. I've ordered 2 decks before from Skates on Haight, but no more.

I found in Purple Skank what I had looked for on two other continents and for 5 long years : Decksand gear that simply aren't imported in Australia.
That's already pretty good, but if you add to this the friendliest staff I've seen in any skateshop, and also very knowleadgeable, and THE OPPORTUNITY TO TRY A SIMILAR BOARD BEFORE BUYING ? Hey, who else does that ? Try your new ride before you buy it.
Oh, I forgot the most important : no tears when comes the time to pay ! Hey, in Oz I got a decently crappy Sector9 for 350$, and I got at PurpleSkunk a Landy with my dreamed-of gear for ... 200bucks ! beat that !
If you love skate and you're anywhere S-F, IT'S DEFINITELY WORTH THE DETOUR !
