Everything you need for this life (style) and the one that came before. Longboards, trick flippers, even a slalom. The guys are cool and down to earth, the chick behind the counter didn't say too much either! Got to love it: Three floors of awesome shoes, wild clothes, and artillery.

Tell 'em Al sent you! (who?)

Most impressive selection of longboards and accessories that I've seen in SoCal. Decks include G&S, Gravity, Surf One, and at least as of a week ago, several Real Woods. Also large selection of trucks, including complete size runs of Indy and Invader. And just as important for this old vert dog, 10" griptape. They're located at:
207 Main Street (2 blocks from HB pier)

This is a great place to pick up safety equipment, trucks (randal, Indy), bearings, wheels etc.
The "skateboard department" has been there for over 25 years. They have longboards, street decks and completes.

Red Nik Surf Co. Calgary, Canada

Finally a shop in Canada that has awesome longboards ( Red Nik Surf Co. PH: Toll Free @ 1 877 277-SURF ). These guys are the dope. They have over 15 brands of longboards and their prices are great. Awesome hot chicas for staff, and the owner is a really cool older dude. I was visiting from Montreal and bought a super nice 52 Tahoe board. These guys will ship anywhere as well, as my friends have ordered up boards since my return, and we are now the Red Nik Montreal Longskate club. If you want a board I bet they will have it. They must have had 60 + boards and decks. Cool clothing and surf shop. Check out their web www.rednik.com.

Staff didn't talk down to me even though I am a beginner and female, Which other shops did. They encouraged me to take my time and get the best board for me. I'm totally happy with it and now ride almost every day. I would recommend this shop to anyone in the LA area

CONSPIRACY ST ALBANS ENGLAND
On 7/13/2001 Paulo wrote in from (213.30.nnn.nnn)

Would recommend these guys . i came over from brazil to work in england and saw the posting on this site so i gave them a telephone call , they were not actually that far from where i was staying so travelled over to see them . A guy called jon set me up with exactly what i was after, a fibreflex 44" pintail ,randall 180mm trucks and a set of 76mm kryptonics i was redy to roll in under 20mins and that even included cutting my grip sheet around the fibreflex logo! Helpful and polite definately what we all need these days! They had loads of stock for all kinds of riding inc slalom, pools and cruisin will definately be going back if my job over here lasts! They even have a regular cruise every other sunday in a town called Harpenden where about 15 skaters get together to cruise and bomb hills the location is perfect with a late setting sun and long smooth hills. Well worth giving them a ring if you fancy uniting with other people that all ride longskates.Conspiracy you have definately got the flavour at the moment and thanxs for your help and free sticker pack!

Snowboard Connection - Seattle

Hey Guys and Gals -
In Seattle your one stop shop for all your longboard needs is the Snowboard Connection (604 Alaskan Way - 206/467-8545). They have it all!!! I was in there yesterday on my lunch hour and saw the UPS man deliver over thirty boxes of longboard decks, wheels, trucks and other skate equipment.

Now if they only would carry more (some) slalom equipment!

Check them out!
Later
Gareth
