DH Skate business oppertunity
On 10/3/2001 Doc wrote in from (172.181.nnn.nnn)

Hello friends, associates and fellow downhill competitors,

Due to circumstances beyond my control originating with the injuries I sustained in 2000, I will be offering for sale my entire Carbon Fiber Aero helmet manufacturing business. I am currently unable to keep up with the demand that has lately arisen for these helmets and will be offering all of the tooling, machinery, technology and training to a serious, qualified buyer. With the current demand and pricing structure of the helmets, the payback on this investment could be realized well within one year. Please contact me via e-mail to schedule a meeting or phone conference. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY.

Sincerely,

-Doc-

Nik, the O'Neill surf shop in London sells Sector 9's. It is in a shopping precinct just off Neal Street near Convent Garden. They usually have four or five in stock at any one time, I was there last weekend but I didn't see the Cloud 9 model. Or alternatively you could order off the web from the US as sometimes (even including shipping) it works out cheaper and you get to pick the model you really want.

East Coast Skates
On 9/27/2001 Mitch T wrote in from (198.80.nnn.nnn)

Hey East Coast Skates has Fibreflexes! They also have indies, trackers and some other slalom, longboard, downhill and pool stuff, some of the stuff isn't even up on their website, you'll have to ask for it. There's also a link to oldschoolskates off their site. They're on the East Coast so here in MD, when I order from them I get my stuff the next day.

On 9/26/2001 Carol wrote in from (130.126.nnn.nnn)

Flexdex no longer have RII's onsale but pollskater.com (which has ad on this site) has the 150mm for $40. A couple more places have them for $40 too if you look around.

I was wondering what's the width on the flexdec RII's.

Cheap R II's
On 9/25/2001 Brian wrote in from (205.188.nnn.nnn)

Yup, 40$ is as cheap as I've seen them advertised. Although, unless you're really strapped, I'd try and support the shops that support this site....only 10$ more. But like I said, if money is tight, I understand. www.daddiesboardshop.com is a link someone posted.

I just want to send out props to Dale and crew! They just got in some very soulful Barfoot longboards(and Snowboards!),and Dale looked me up to go check 'em out on some good ol' Green Mountain sideroads. It's nice to see the shop's owner get out and Ride the stuff he sells! Once Dale nails those Coleman slides,he'll be all set.. ;)

longskate vs. solidskate
On 9/15/2001 Antti S. Brax wrote in from (128.214.nnn.nnn)

SimFucious, I'd rather get all the things I want and then give my CC number as I check out. Just a personal preference. BTW, SolidSkate is also out of stock with the Seismic springs. They should get more next week (propably same goes with Longskate).

longskate vs. solidskate
On 9/14/2001 SimFucious wrote in from (24.189.nnn.nnn)

Antti, the reason they want your CC number is so that once you put it in, you don't have to type it in anymore. Once you register sign in on the site. Then get all the things u want and check out. Thats the end of it, once you register your set. As long as longskate carries the products i need, i will order from them. (Pssst, Marc get some seismic springs)

solidskate.com vs. longskate.com
On 9/13/2001 Antti S. Brax wrote in from (213.28.nnn.nnn)

I chose Solidskate because Longskate wanted to know all kinds of irrelevant personal information (my CC number for example) about me before making an order.

Great place, great people. Know their stuff, old shool, new school, dropped out, PhD, whatever. PD collects old stuff and will trade I've heard. Bought some Indy 101s there and they're selling some wicked completes for a song. Skullskates boards are incredibly beautiful (or GNC if you're an old man). www.skullskates.com is the website. There is an affiliated shop in Japan. While a "surf co." in Calgary is a surreal concept, if you live in the real west :) PD's the only place I've seen where people know what they're up to. Good wheel selection, and they seem to be sensing the slalom thing coming back...
