Yea, I know about the infamous hot tub picture!
I just wanted to see, through the miracle of photoshop, what you CSAers were going to come up with! (you should have seen the picture I was going to post... on second thought.)
We now know Peters is in love with the Telemundo newscaster! Looks like he was trying to get her drunk. Shame on you, James... trying to offer her a beer while she's still on duty.
At 40, you are still an infant... how old is Dan-O???
I can't wait to see you guys!
Hey... why are there more bubbles over by Dan-O???

The pool for 2-3 new sets of timing strips is growing, and I'll be placing the order with tapeswitch today or tomorrow. I'm thinking we'll need a redundant set in case of any failure mid-season. So far we're at $200 with kick-ins from:
-stryker -alldred -corey -p eters -pledge from brad -pledge from spencer
This CSA budget will also pay for connectors, new cable, batteries, and other timer miscellany as needed. I'll keep a balance and let you know if/when we need to ask for donations at upcoming races, etc.
Thanks, it's gonna be a FAST year!!

Dry pavement leads to pad and helmet test

Finally dry pavement so I could really test out my new Bennett trucks.
I guess I have them wedged a bit too much as they bucked me off and I got to test my helmet and pads.
But I did a pretty good gymnastic tumble for an old guy and spread the damage out over my whole body.
Sore, but took a couple more runs anyway.

I'm originally from the West Coast, and all I have to say is I would KILL for some rain right now. Today another stormed rolled onto the prairie bringing with it snow and 75 kph (45 mph) winds, with a wind chill of -37C.
Guess slalom is still out of the question. Hi to all you guys I met last September: Pat, Cory, Dan-O, Stryker, Jackhammer, Gary and Judy and the rest of the Spokane crew! Hoping like crazy I can make it to Salem in April!

Hey, Good Luck to everyone at the Portland Pusher this Sunday! I was hoping I would have the day off for this one but I'll be at the "other" job radiating people all the day long.
SuperBowl sounds kinda boring, but I'm one of "those" who just does'nt get it I guess, good alternative event.
Have fun everyone and make Robin work for it, or better yet, maybe someone else will finally wear the crown - P
