Stryker, anything in the downtown area will be close to the venues. Rodeway Inn is cheap and really not bad. Orbitz.com has all of the options. I tried to book a block of rooms in a hotel adjacent to a cool parking garage for some bombing but they were really proud of their rooms$$$$$ -Mark

well,..you better sit down for this one.....
it looks like john has fallen in love with a ford mustang and has run off to albuqurqe or something, brads now a memorial cup inductee and is bleeding from his ears. corey forgot his shoes and is skating with no knee pads and tim wants his pinkey's back!
i could tell ya 'bout patrick(he wears a cilt and readopted his true name McKilacudy) but i won't.
james can't stop pumpin' and spencers' mom has got it goin' on..(no offense, jodi)
as for me?...well...i still wear a size nine shoe, love my mom and can't wait to get out of this ridiculous gorilla outfit!

Hey, Do you or anyone in your crew know how to get a contest code # for the contest calender? Try going to the "Posting Guidlines" or find the "webmaster" info and email Adam(the webmaster) to get a Contest Code # so you can list your race on the Contest Calender and have an info/sign-up page. - P

Okay, here's the mapquest for Lincoln Park which is Sunday's event. I gave you directions from the intersection of I90 Freeway and Thor, which is probably the easiest. I've not created a link like this before, so if it doesn't work do Mapquest and your destination is the intersection of Southeast Blvd. and E. Rockwood Blvd, Spokane, WA. which is where Lincoln Park is located. Oh yeah, if you have questions, please call Mark at his correct cell phone number (509)999-2873.

Okay, here's the latest and greatest on the Spokane Event:
September 15-16, 2007. This is an outlaw race. Saturday racing 11 a.m. to whenever. Practice from 10a.m. to 11 a.m. Racing will be in a new housing development. We will be running hybrid slalom.
Sunday racing will begin at 10 a.m. Practice from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Racing will be at a lovely park where we train every Tuesday night. We will be expeditious and try to get everyone on the road as early as possible.
We're really trying to encourage a great first timers turnout. This means wives (Amy Roe!), girlfriends, Moms (Amy Roe and Jody!), and other newcomers to this sport. Plan on racing at a level that will be comfortable for everyone. Longboards are welcome.
Helmets are mandatory. Bathroom facilities are close but not on site. Please bring water as there is no water available at either spot. Plenty of room for chairs, popups, etc.
Saturday night we're planning on going to a local pizza spot for dinner (no host). Judy and Mark have some floor space available. Just make sure you are not allergic to dogs or cats.
Directions will follow in the next post. If you have any questions, please feel free to call Mark at (509)951-7554. Have a great long weekend.

Dang, Here's my story, Saterday's are pretty much out for me, and we have our Honeymoon trip already planned the last week of September and family visiting from the "old country" (Wyoming) in mid-September. I'll see if I can squeeze it in if possible though. - P

Of course, I have a timer. But I am as yet undecided whether I'll be going to Seattle or not. Anyone who is SURE to go from PDX to Seattle can pick it up and take it.
I'm undecided because I think I need to work this weekend, but then I could blow it off and go to Seattle..... decisions, decisions..
