Its been great getting together with everyone on Bernal Rd. Thanks for the pointers everyone. Thanks Cat for making the long drive with me. It was a treat to meet Gary Holl too!

AND thanks to that wild man Tom Norton for showing us how its done!

For those who dont yet know that name, take note! He is TEARING up the courses and doing it on a cut down S9 longboard, plain Trackers (using a chunk of wood as his "angle riser" and some so/so S9 wheels! If he get a real set up under him, than we may never catch up! Go Tom!!!!

I will have to make it to more of your races!
My last statement was incorrect, it was the ride in the volvo that was hell, getting home was just the lava on the cake, once we got to Colorado and out of the car it was all good,I will take a plane next time, your races rock......keep up the good work and race on.......
Happy holidays
see ya soon
Just got anouther 4th in Utah no podium... poor me (Just had to throw that in)

nope not clarendon, the roads called medical center Wy.
its a backside of clarendon that takes you down towards the haight and stuff. I haven't scouted it yet but theres a good amount of drop on it and I imagine its mostly ambulances and such that drive on it.

Vail Hell Trip

Hey Mark, I remember your 4th place woes, and I empathize too. David advanced and I didn't, damn Promoters Curse. I would have thought you guys would be MORE worried about getting home in that car after the trip to get there. You'll always be able to say you raced down Vail Pass in the US Nationals!

You know that TSR podiums now award to 4th place. That's why David was on the Stonhenge Podium at Maryhill, you can boast that you remember 'back in the day' when 4th still sucked. Kids today.....Race you soon!

get in touch with me when you get in town. I'd love to go hit some hills and do some sliding. I found a pretty fun run in oakland, faster than claremont but no crazy turns and blind corners to deal with. There's a spot behind the UCSF medical center in the city I wanna check out too, basically the backside of twin peaks down to parnassus.

Try out a skate scepter FREE
On 11/15/2006 Will wrote in from United States  (66.245.nnn.nnn)

Some people asked to try a skate scepter out so this event has been put together for you. It's local, in Palo Alto, CA and it's comming soon!

Try a SkateScepter for FREE. Whats a Skate Scepter? It's cool portable device that pushes you on your skateboard. ANY type of skate board. And it will push you up hills too! No modifications to your board needed since you just hold it in your hands in while in your natural stance on your skate. Squeeze the throttle and away you go. Black Diamond Sports in Palo Alto has graciously decided to host a Demo Day with Brown Tooth Innovations LLC so people can try a Skate Scepter. Bring your own HELMET and BOARD and ride at your own risk.

Location: Palo Alto, CA (rain or shine since it's in a covered garage)
DATE: Tuesday November 21
TIME: 7:00 PM

e-mail me for more info and directions, skateking@skatescepter DOT com or visit www.skatescepter.com

Del Valle
On 11/6/2006 William wrote in from United States  (66.245.nnn.nnn)

So I tried a bit of the Del Valle road this weekend. It was pretty fun. But the pavement isn't the best(as stated by other boarders). It's basically smooth but there is some gravel on the shoulders. It would really suck to take a spill on it. I need to try it on a REAL longboard now, anyone got one I can borrow? =) I got lots of google eyed looks from drivers as I skated up the hill with my Skatescepter.
