Anyone else going to be near Revere Saturday ? We'll be in the neighborhood, and could meet there at 2:30 or 3:00pm, assuming there's nothing happening to preclude our access to the school. We have to bail by 5:30-6:00pm to pick up my daughter at LAX. I can bring cones and a timer.

Chris, Gareth etc.
John and I will be in Seattle Saturday and would like to get together to run some cones. I talked to Steve Olson Yesterday and he will be there as well and wants to practice. Lets figure something out.
GGP Crew
I won't be around this Sunday. Lets pursue a Saturday or weekday venue.

Yeah, it would be real nice to find another spot. One that we could skate on Saturday, not just when the park is closed to traffic on sunday. I wonder if we could get away with it in the Presidio. I can think of a couple of wide smooth slopes that would allow us to set a SUPER GS, with some real fast speeds and big drifting corners. Any other ideas?

Hey DR, Good to see you back. If your coming, I'll most likely be there on saturday. I was skating real tentatively with those DC DC guys, carving and sliding alot to keep down the speed. Then finally I decided to let it go a little and carved a high speed turn right on a big oil slick or something, my butt was smack on the ground before I knew what hit me. The soreness has now travelled up to my shoulders, maybe I'll wake up with a headache.

Glad to be back in DC despite having to bum a vehicle to get here. Saturday night's weather looks good. Mitch, how's your butt? Sounds like you were riding with those crazy DC fools (Doug & Anthony). They scared the s**t out of me when I rode with them the other month but it was damn fun. Can't wait to see the DC Downhill race. Maybe we can make Chaput ollie for a $20 bill.
Hope to see the regulars and more in G-berg on Sat. night.

Guys,
I am going to see if someone can cover some work I was going to probably have to do on sunday. So let me know where the meeting place will be and I'll do my very best to make it. Revere has banks...
Anyone know the roll call for Cambria? I have my reservations in San Simeon, so I am there! Won't be racing but I will to digital documentation and cone chasing...
PS I am planning on bringing (to cambria, unless someone offers something up for this weekend) my new to me (though slightly used) Richie C Hobie 360 spinner wheels for a trade? These puppies are pretty damn rare so I'll be looking for a high end deal... maybe some gullwing spit axel trucks... or something on that par... HR

I have to tell you Attila that la costa is a better surface than WLAC, so if there is a session down there (henry, arab, chicken, brad e?) I would prefer the nicer surface, if not count me in for wlac-either way i will be practicing Sunday-hope we can ride together.

PCB, I've got some extra tracker fulls and risers lying around, and some hardware. I could lend you the wheels from my quicksilver repro for the session, that'll make sure you go slow, but you'll have good traction. I've also got some old rusty bearings. having trouble walking today, took a pretty high speed slam straight on my ass after slipping in some oil slick or something last night.

PCB, I'll hook you, and I'm sure others will, too. I have trucks (Indy 101, Tracker full), a few various wheels, bushings, risers, don't have too much long hardware and you're on your own for bearings.

I'll be there, if I can borry sum wheels and maybe some trucks, so that I can complete my slalom board. The deck is 7" wide, with classic truck bolt pattern. Same size as yours, DR.

Looks like this weekend will see the main crew showing up at the Park-N-Ride to session with some cones. E-mail GBJ for directions if you wish to attend. We start at 8:00 or so and ens when we feel like it. But it's usually about 2:00 or so.

Andrew,
I glad you are doing well following your crash. It didn't look like much but I did see you hit your head while rolling over backwards. I was impressed by your intelligence. After the crash you took the time to check yourself out and not do anything crazy. Keep the helmet on when riding guys.
I'd also like to say thank you to young JM and Patrick. They are only 16 and 17 but they had the sense to stop ahead of all of the other riders and point out upcoming hazards in the road. Thinking ahead can be so helpful!

Wanted to thank everyone for the berkely ride, I had a great time. wonderfull riding with so many nice people, and seeing such a high level of skating going on. I am mostly recovered from my concussion today, has taken me about 3 days, but I can think again now. I have my helmet to thank for not having a longer recovery. I will be at the skunk ride tonight, hope to see people there.
