I would love to be there, but I will be in Las Vegas at the bicycle industry tradeshow(Interbike). I would much rather be here in SF than Vegas.
I used to go to Vegas for only two reasons. To see "The Dead" at the Silverbowl, or watch Tark and UNLV. Jerry is dead, and Tark is gone, all that is left is a loud obnoxious city that smells like stale ciggarette smoke and urine.
I'll be thinkin' about cones the whole trip. ; )

See Chris, that's your problem you were riding the drawing board.
It was nice to see all there today. The crew taking care of the timing and scoring duties, was yet another reason why California Slalom rules.
Gotta stir up the rivalries.....

Thank god SSS brought some Pollo Loco chicken because otherwise I'd be eating crow right now. Attila won today at the Revere slalom race. He said he'd give me a good deal on the Krypto's. Accuracy was important because the course was short and tight and each cone cost you 2/10 of a second.
Time, Penalty, Total, Rider =========================== 13.21 + .2 = 13.41 Attila 13.12 + .4 = 13.52 Chicken 13.36 + .4 = 13.76 Richy 12.97 + .8 = 13.77 Chaput I think Martin was 5th
WLAC was a bust so we moved to Revere. The surface was better but the course wasn't as steep or long. It was a fun course but too tight for me and my plank. I laid down the only sub 13 second times (12.97, 12.77, 12.91) but DQ'd on 4 of 5 runs. Back to the drawing board!

Erik and I got to GGP around 9:30AM only to find that the FOG was so heavy that the street was soaking wet...I'm sure glad it wasn't like this during the GGP Race.
Maybe next weekend if Mother Nature is kind...

GAry and I will be there around 10am, our usual time. I have not heard if HC or Clayton will be there. I am pretty sure Henry will be showing up. I don't think that Adam is going to make it, but we are going to get together for some CyberSlalom later in the week.

Well Chris I'm trying to get my dad to let me fly out to cali, but that is gonna be a problem. I imagine i could come over around christmas time, but it will be cold(even for cali weather) and most people will be spending time with the family. so I assume that the earliest i can fly out will be in april which is a while away. Around the week of spring break. Another problem, once i get to cali, i won't be able to go all over the place skating, because my means of transportation is my uncle & aunt, possibly my cousins. One of my relatives likes in trabuco canyon, Roughly 10 miles from the dump road, so maybe an event there? The other relatives live in buena park, around knotts berry farm. So If an event is planned when i get there, its gotta be somewhat around those places. When i go to cali, i'm looking for some TS and Hybrid, maybe some GS at the dump road. Lookin forward to meeting everyone. Already met some quality racers and cool people on the east coast, and i would like to meet everyone on the west coast. Lookin forward to meetin everyone on the west coast(esp. CC, HH, PD, JS, EG, AA, MDP, DG) and i would like to race against the Turner Team(lol I'll get owned)...Also I would just like to hold the prestigious turner called "The White Dove"... -Christian p.s. ur13, Thanx for the kind words. If you keep pumping that scamber the way you do, you'll run me over and leave me in the dust! I hope u can go to Cali when I do so we can keep our friendly rivalry going.

Chris, watch out SImFuscious will kick you in the shins and dust you with his sure grips before you know what hit you. I wish I was 15 again and as smooth and fast as Sim is. If his soccer career doesn't take off watch out slalom world.

Thanks Man! I have a number of skate heroes myself. There will always be guys who can do stuff that I can only dream about, and most of them are really nice guys. When a number of these living legends get together, they have a lot of respect for one another. One guys tells the other "You da man!" and the other guy responds "No, YOU da man!". It's kinda nice.
When exactly AM I going to meet you? Where is home and what event is the most likely to find us both attending? Wherever it is, I hope it happens sooner than later.
Glen, Bow wow. Ruff.
