we could maybe do this bi-athelon style. skate part way down dump road. Slide to a stop, someone throws a rollerblade into the air and you shoot it, skate down the hill, someone throws a rollerblade into the air and you shoot it, repeat to the bottom.

This is the final weekend of practice before La La La Costa - your date with destiny. Anyone interested in a Saturday and Sunday practice to get all the kinks out before turkey day?
Perhaps we can run cones at Gunn HS on Saturday and maybe GGP on Sunday? Kind of the last workout before the race. Other thoughts Gary/Jonathon?
Added bonus - I just uncovered some barely used Logan Park Rider 5's and will gladly lend them to someone for La Costa as secret weapons if we hook up to run cones somewhere on Saturday AM....

Now this is an idea. I don't know about the 9th, and Sunday's are usually bad for me. But skate-shoot-skate is a good idea. Go from a 57 Ed Econ, to a .45LC Ruger, to a 41 Afroman

Does this make sense to anyone else?
Last night, i had a dream...
i was walking along a purple hillside, lit by an orange sky, when i felt my stomach begin to churn. A knot of frustration seemed to boil over with months of pent up hostility towards this inner beast which kept me from skating. The knot grew nearer to the surface and began to take the shape of a hand. At first it stucks its rotten finger out of my belly, then pulled on itself. I bit my teeth and passed out. I awoke to this little bastard hand slapping me. It stared at me, eye to eyes (yes this bastard hand has an eye but no wrist). I quickly jumped up and stepped toward this trespasser. It jumped up in the air and flipped me off, then began to run from me. I knew i could not let it get away so i gave chase. I hopped on my trusty stick and pushed off in pursuit. I figured it wouldnt be long before i could destroy such a beast (but it was quick - i never knew how fast a hand could run on its fingers until then) i began to catch up to this possesed carcus until it cut through a parked car and into a giant bowl of cereal. It was hiding in the milk and blended in well with all the marshmellows. I began drinking the milk only to find it was sour. So i poked a hole near the bottom and all the milk turned blue, then emptied leaving this rat hand of mine hiding behind the spoon. I pulled out my trusty Smith & Wesson Model 629 .44 Magnum and fired six rounds into this hell bent fool. I blew each finger off and put the last round in its bloodshot eye. Die , Die , Die! Lightning struck and i felt lucky not to get hit again. I couldn't let this empty bowl go untouched, so i skated it till i couldn't stand it. No literally i couldn't stand.... i had to crawl back to my bed, in which i woke up, twice.
When I woke up,I knew this could mean only one thing, i must skate the dump, skate the park, and shoot a gun, cause nothing goes together better!
On SUNDAY , DECEMEBER 9, i will live my dream, well sort of. I'm making this post to invite anyone that is driven by the freedom within to carve more lines on a road than pumpkins on trees.
i will be skating at the SJC DUMP ROAD in the morning / afternoon. i'll follow that up with some of the best mexican food the land has to offer. next i'm going over to ON-TARGET'S INDOOR SHOOTING RANGE to fire some rounds at old bin ladin. and i'll wrap that up with a trip to the LAGUNA HILLS SKATEPARK, and who knows maybe some parking structures if anyone can still hang. i'll post more info later on the directions.
so who is going? Gary? Hugh? Glen? Roger? Jon? Chris? Rooney? Mike? Breamo? Ross? Sean? Paul? Brad? Danny? Kludy? Fast Eddie? Todo? Lucy? Papa Smurf?

Westwood Ski and Sports Club and the International Gravity Sports Association (IGSA) are pleased to announce the fall racing series at West LA College for skateboard, inline skate, classic luge (buttboard), street luge, and gravity bikes. We'll have both racing and practice on Sunday November 18 and Sunday December 16 on the three hills inside the campus. The events will take place rain or shine, but if it rains the schedules may change.
Sunday November 18 will feature a skateboard tight slalom race on B Street and the annual Skates and Gates Slalom Championship (with categories for inline, longboard, and short board) on D Street. There will also be practice all day for street luge, classic luge (buttboard), and gravity bikes on C Street.
Sunday December 16 features IGSA regional races for gravity bike, street luge, and classic luge (buttboard). Also, there will be a giant slalom race on D Street with separate classes for skateboards and inline skates. The giant slalom course will be set in an open style allowing fast riding. There will also be slalom practice.
For all the details, and to get on my email list, please email me.

there is a School with nice pavement (allthough almost flat)next to my appartement (8th and Clement) that could be skated tomorrow morning / afternoon. Also San Francisco State University has some excellent traffic free spots. I skated there a couple of times and campus police never cared so far.
just some ideas,
let me know if you want to give it a try.
I'll sacrifice some chicken and a beer tonight, maybe that will please the weather gods ...

Hey, I have been getting a lot of e-mails for people wanting to attend this event so keep them coming. I am thinking awe will do this in the spring since it'll be warmer and no snow in the mountains. My e-mail is in the below post.
