What is the precise location of the GGP thing on Sunday? I think it's the same place that I went to for the official race a few months ago but I just want to make sure. It's a big park! Thanks. Anyone from the Santa Cruz area going? (besides me...)

Hugh, leave the luge at home. El Fuerte is a open street and I can't think of anything that would scare the locals more than the site of a some guy in leathers riding a luge down the street that leads to thier house. Lets not chance it. For me its cones, carving & sliding. Maybe draft Roger a few times.... email me if your really need directions, you've been there before. Just put in intersection of Alga & El Fuerte in mapquest, Carlsbad, 92008 or 92009

I could be persuaded to make the drive... if you could send me some directions! What time are you guys planning on getting together? Bombing too? Anywhere for a luge? Or a cone mostly type thing? HR

ESPN COVERAGE OF OSSJ - TOMORROW 3/1/02 Hey Everyone -- Set your VCR's to see the ESPN feature on this years' OSSJ. The first airing is tomorrow (March 1) at 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. ET -- (so that's 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. for us west coasters). The feature will be on EXPN2Day on ESPN2. Check out the web site for additional program schedule at: http://expn.go.com/tv/s/x2day.html. Chances are it will repeat on March 8 and/or 15.
Thanks to everyone for cooperating with interviews and Todd Huber and the rest for organizing such a great event!
Note -- the final piece was produced by ESPN 2Day using footage that I supplied -- so final edit decisions were not in my control -- translation -- please don't be mad at me if YOUR interview wasn't included. Thanks again!

Anyone in favor of setting up a dual course and running a Grass Roots race ? No timer required - just some stopwatches for qualifier times.

Hmm. Athens, GA. Some great bands from around there.
So, the story David Hartman wrote was ABOUT you? I couldn't figure it out, cause I had received an e-mail from him once before when we were setting up a Chicago area session, then I read that article and it said "Dr. David Hartman's alias Patio Mendino" or something like that. So I was confused. Anyway, if you ever talk to him or have his e-mail tell him to give me a shout out.
If it was you in the article, it's been nice chatting with you. Sounded like a hell of an ordeal, probably one you deal with still, and will forever.
Hope to skate with you soon.
