Weather looks good until Sat evening. I'll have my tight weave on.
Slappy, if you decide to come out, can you bring those trucks for me to try?

I hope that we can set some real tight cones on Walker Rd to get ready for the Boston nor-easter race course that JG will be setting. I'll be showing up at 8pm. How's the weather?

I`ll be throwing cones down NEXT weekend at the Dump Rd in Davie. This is an outlaw event so parking is limited. Email me and I`ll hook you up for a ride. Attendance so far to be expected is skater chic Kimberly from Deerfield Bch, Chuck from Jupiter, and myself from Hollywood. I have plenty of boards, extra protective gear, and Turner cones. We just need more bodies to line the road, uh, er, just show up....

Count me in for the banked slalom race. I'll bring the usual crew. They all had a great time at the Surfrider banked slalom last week.

I'll be tied up the next couple of months but I have been getting a bunch of requests to do a banked slalom race at Landsdowne. Alan Chaney held one there about two summers ago. It was killer. Maybe we could do the race sometime late into the summer or in the fall. I haven't been to Landsdwone since they mucked it up with the fence and guard. Hope they would be cool with a race. Anyone got any contacts with the Baltimore goverment to get the ball rolling? Me and Mitch have the timer and cones. How bout it Cabbage? Dave Mullin? BoBo?........

Mick, you just missed an awesome event in MD, at Seneca Creek State Park, last weekend. The Park and Race, Geezer X is talking about, is in MD. I still haven't had an opportunity to ride Lansdowne, but would really like to. I'd be up for some skating this saturday, if my heel is ok by then.

The course is once around Central Park which is roughly 7 miles.

Everyone has had plenty of time to gloat, lick their wounds, digest their huge Chipotle burritos, and generally get back to life as it is. Which begs the question...When does racing at the P n' R commence? DC natives want to know. Lets get it togethers, peeps.

The Cascade Slalom Association will be hosting its regular Sunday slalom session at North Seattle Community College at 2:00pm in the SE parking lot.
We will set up both Tight (6'centers!) and GS courses. With the tentitive plan being to race head to head on the tight course. I will scrape up some prizes for the winners this weekend! Lets have some fun!
I have spoken to a whole bunch of new people over the last week who want race now that snowboard season is officially over (okay, so technically tomorrow is actually the last day of the local snowboard season) So there should be a lot of new faces.
Call me at 206/371-9710 if you have any questions or need more information.
Pray for sun! See you at the races! Gareth www.roeslalom.com --
