Just a reminder that tomorrow is the benefit for Mike Rodgers being held at the YMCA in West Palm, FL from 3pm to 7pm, november 22.
Details can be found on the floridaskater.com website.
Paypal donations can be made too.
Mike is a cancer survivor who has had recently had a relapse and more treatment along with added costs.
He is a staple of the florida skate scene but had to close his skate shop to pursue his treatments.

It's true...I heard it last night whilst dodging deer driving home! Come and enjoy the fun at Vans, Potomac Mills tomorrow, saturday 11/22/03....Good travelling weather and traffic jam-free wishes go out to all out of towners, especially the boyz from Detroit! Will the Asheville contingent make it here? Radio commercials for the Vintage & Longboard Day this Saturday 11/22/03 are being played on WHFS 99.1 FM. This is an added bonus for us at no cost to Surfrider Foundation because Vans is paying for the advertisements.
All the Sponsors have hooked us up with a bunch of swag/prizes. Look for raffles at the event (1 ticket for $1.00 or 10 tickets for $5.00) along for prizes for the races.

He friggin yes!...you eastcoasters are lucky, ya get to have a place like L/D in your backyard...for us it's like a pilgrimage in the time machine....Detroits been locked up indoors with ramp parks for way to long.....we're stoked on getting up there after Vans....mucho graci to the folks who turned us on to this whole weekend....It's gonna be a blast...

Concerning the DC/NJ roadtrip today (this for those that were going to skate with us): John DIllon and I had a blown tire Friday night and the trip is off. We were going to leave his house (Northern MD) Early Satuday morning but we are now at Brian Parsons' house...couldn't get a new tire. We might skate Lansdowne or something today.

Another successful DC Outlaw race this past weekend. Killer weather. Ohm took down everyones favorite Russian in the longboard race.
It's still the Vlad, Ohm, Parsons show in DC. Slappy is not only a leader in the keyboard racing series. He can also do it through the cones.
