WHAT'S THE DEAL!!!!
I say if it's not gonna be through IGSA, than we should do it! C'mon, some hay, some BIG cones, some brooms, a half a dozen radios, a few good men, a stop-watch and a U-hall truck, and we're on our way! Lets do it FOR FUN!!! I want to race, I have been training way too hard to just not race next weekend! What do you guys think?

when and where is this other sf skate session gonna take place....i was going to go to the one last week but could'nt make it.
i would suggest the sunset on a friday or saturday night, the sunset is dead after bout 10 pm.

Yes, practice riding is on for this coming Saturday at Barrett Junction for standup and luge, and anyone else that has fun (can someone forward this to gravity bike riders). I'll bring some big orange traffic cones to "close" the road with and a couple of FRS radios to confirm course clear. This is NOT the race, the qualifiers, or have anything to do with IGSA or NCDSA, just a bunch of skaters taking over a road.

I agree with the RJ mexican food problem, it was good though. and yes, skating was fun, or was it partying? Both!

Sunday was alot of fun. Skated all day. Very stiff muscles today. We did it all; some cones, some carving, some sliding, and lots of bombing. I feel like I got alot of skating in, which is awesome considering all the rain we've had. I even went down while footbraking at about 30mph, so my leathers finally have scuffs. At the end of the day DT showed us another Mexican food spot, this one I'll even go back to.

I was told by Marcus Rietema (IGSA) that Barret is no longer and easy deal to get since his ACE in the HOLE Frank Waterhouse does not live there any longer.
HE still intends on getting the road for a race, but it is no longer auotmatic and has become as hard as any road to get a permit and resources together for.

I just got a call from my mechanic, my car is a little worse off than first appeared. He hopes to have it done by 3:30-4, but that is a bit late for our plans. But I can borrow my wife's car. I was thinking that we could move our timetable up an hour or two. I have talked to Ben and HC and they think that we can meet between 1-2pm at the skunk. I have to be back in Berkeley by 5:30 to pick up my wife. If you know anyone who was planning on making this ride, let them know about the changes.

I'll be at skunk at 3.45pm. I'll bring my toys and pads etc. I don't need a ride to skunk, but I'd be very happy to get a ride from there. I never skated the presidio and it sounds good (except for patrols). another thing someone told me about a while ago was a supposedly car-free ride in the San Bruno Mountain Park between colma and brisbain. I have no idea what i will be like but might also be worth a try.
