We are on for one o'clock meeting and then head to GG park. If anyone wants to join us, please do. We love company. RSVP to this list, we will check it before we leave for the park. At the park we can meet at the slalom course that is set near the east end of JFK blvd, near the Conservatory of Flowers.

IGSA is geared for the luge riders and the standup guys are and will be a side show. The race at barret is a great time for the standup guys to race each other. This site is for speedboarders and with the race and IGSA, Utah is a safer ride to get in the X-games.Stand-up is not going and the race at Barret , I hope will happen for the luge riders trying to get to the X-games. Dont want to blow the hill without a permit for future events because it is a great hill. I will know about the permit tonite and will pass it on. When the permit is pulled the speedboardes will ride.Anthony , if you fly into S.D. airport call me and I will pick you up, there are riders coming and I live 10 min. from the airport.You did me right at your place and I can do the same at mine !

Thanks for trying to find out what you can. Like I said before... I got the time off and am mobile and willing to drive to wherever the bad boys (that's all you guys) want to skate! A fun ride works for me too!

Hey Guys, Until you hear it from Marcus Rietema (IGSA) himself, consider the Barrett Junction RACE on March 24th and 25th cancelled. He has announced that race and others tentatively and not yet confirmed them. The only race that is confirmed thus far is in St. George Utah on Friday, April 27th and Saturday, April 28th. I hope I'm wrong but his voicemail says he's out until March 19th and the last I spoke with him was in the airport in Amsterdam on the way back from the DHX, when he said he didn't have the permits pulled yet.
I'm all for having a fun session/race on those days but don't get your hopes up too high for anything "official". As soon as I know more, I'll post it here, at SkateRelated.com and at the Streetluge.com BBS.

softer wheels will work better for Barret, and bring a few sets if you can.

I'm wondering how to get to the course from San Diego Airport or possibly from LAX. The flights are tight out of both but i'm gonna try and make it. What wheels do you guys usually ride at Barrett? Also wanted to say I'm working on putting on a race in Mexico and possibly Costa Rica and will post any forward movement on the events page. San Jose, Costa Rica has some intense urban hills! It's a great place for a race. Cross your fingers.

That's good news on the race! I'm there dude! We'll probably arrive that friday night and camp out. I got the ol' $200 ugly motorhome up and running. She ain't too purty, she ain't too young, but she is paid for!
Also, I will stop by your house on saturday on the way home.
Please don't, don't, don't, don't give me the ONLY copies of your tapes!!! I couldn't bear the thought of losing your memories/legacy on film... HR

I'm with you Danny...
Roger has 2 radios and so do I... a pick up truck or two... a bunch of guys and were set!
Don't know about camping down at the finsh line... but up at the top there is a real cool spot that could fit a half dozen vehicles easy. If I can get the Motorbomb up the slope then I'll set up camp! It's not fancy, but its got a stove!
I have the time off of work so we're on the road one way or the other. Decks and fishing poles in tow! We can go north... we can go south... heck... we can go east too! Can only go a few miles west (then we'd be swimming)
It's really looking like the IGSA race isn't going to happen next weekend... but that's no reason not to ride!
You guys tell me what you think... HR

Tonight was so fun. Ben Shroeder came out and just killed it. I couldnt believe how fast and how aggresive he skates, its so inspiring to watch.
